Rate this book
Vida and Cole are co-owners of the “Love, Sex & Ink” tattoo parlor but, what makes their business relationship complicated is that they are also ex-lovers who share a daughter. Vida has already moved on while Cole struggles to deal with their shared past. The backstories of the tattoo artists who work alongside Cole and Vida in the shop aren’t any less complicated. This is the first book in the series that will chronicle the steamy, sexy and sometimes dangerous soap opera that all their lives have become…in graphic, vivid and raunchy detail.

Keith Kareem Williams is the author of over 20 books & 7 screenplays. He still resides in his hometown of Brooklyn, New York where he delicately balances his time between his responsibilities as a single father as well as the challenges of being a full-time author.
“In interviews, one of the most difficult questions I’ve been asked is, ‘What genre are your novels?’ because honestly, I never write with any particular style in mind. I enjoy blending styles and mashing different genres together in interesting ways. Basically, I pen whatever is in my heart and soul. However, if I had to describe my style I would use musical terms and say that I write Urban, Hip-Hop, fiction with the rhythm of Reggae that crashed into Heavy Metal and then began to bleed Neo Soul. I write Alternative Urban Fiction.”
One of the things I'm most proud of is how my children look at me with pride because I'm accomplishing my goals and doing the things I set out to do with my career. They recognize and respect my passion. I write constantly and I already have the titles & plots lined up for my next 92 novels. This is what I do and I'm just trying to let the rest of the world know this. My ambition is to become as legendary as some of the writers I admire. I believe that a GOOD writer pulls you into their story. A GREAT writer makes the world around you fall away as you read. The LEGENDARY writers tell stories that become a part of you and linger long after you've read the last line of the last chapter. It was once said that, the pen is mightier than the sword. I say to my fellow AUTHORS: Let's advance our craft until it's mightier than guns, grenades, bullets & nuclear bombs. If not, then put your pen down and fall back. Those of us who are serious about this will run you over as if we were riding in tanks.” – Keith Kareem Williams

Love is a strange thing. Love will make you happy, it will make you sad. Love will make you do strange things and act in a way that you never have before nor ever will again. But the main thing is love is powerful. It's your job is to be very careful with it.

Cole is a simple man. He gets up, goes to work and comes back home. What he didn't realize was that just the simple act of going to work would be so hard. Cole is half owner in Love, Sex and Ink tattoo shop. This shop is his second love, his daughter Amber is his first. Amber is the product of Cole's and Vida's love. Cole and Vida's love was forever until it wasn't then they decided to pursue their true love: being parents to Amber and owning their tattoo shop that they opened together. With the knowledge of knowing how tricky love is, will it be possible for Cole and Vida to run a successful tattoo shop together?

Love, Sex and Ink Season 1: Episode 1 is indicating in the title that this is the beginning of a block buster series! The book has everything that you need as far as a series would go. You have love, romance, drama, sex and raw emotions which is enough for anyone who is an avid reader. This Episode 1 is a quick read, a mere 100 pages, which a sequel book should be. What this episode does is it makes you want to read the next episode and see where this story goes. Not only do you have your two main characters but you have the other tattoo artists: Ness, King Hippo and Little Byrd. Plus who knows what is going to happen with the people in the beauty shop next door. Williams is the type of author who makes you want to know what he is writing next. I am patiently waiting on the next installment of the Love, Sex and Ink series. This Season 1: Episode 1 is currently for purchase on Amazon.com (Kindle and paperback editions) and BN.com (Paperback only).
