Rate this book
Let's help youth athletes learn how to play for something More Than the Score . Their future depends on it.

More than ever, youth sports has become a hyper-competitive battleground. Coaches berate the players and parents threaten the coaches. Pat Combs has seen first-hand the destruction this has caused. It's negatively impacting our homes and communities.

This book gives you practical tools so you can breakdown the "win at all costs" paradigm and replace it with a growth mindset. Since almost all youth athletes will not become professional players, let's allow sports to give them something they can use their whole character and virtue. Traits that matter More Than the Score .

Life Changing and Eye Opening.
This book will radically reconstruct the blueprint we have adopted for our current student-athletes. As a mom of four competitive athletes, I applauded every word with the desire they are tethered to a authentic and genuine faith while they pursue their dreams. Pat Combs offers insight and practical advice on reclaiming the hearts of our children while nurturing their God-given talents. Through personal experiences, he challenges the fallacy of “win at all costs,” and creates a new paradigm of faith, family and competition. Beautifully written.
