This was the last book in what I think was a very entertaining series. Kate had never considered that she would fall in love and wasn’t prepared for it just like in the previous books. Loved the epilogue and seeing the friendships had grown stronger over the years. Recommended read 4*.
This is book 5 and the end to this really good series about a group of girlfriends deciding to put themselves out there and be open to men, love, relationships and new possibilities as a New Year Resolution, but for the summer.
This is Kate's story, and in it she meets Ray, and boy do they have chemistry! They also have some pretty intense emotions/feelings for each other and I liked seeing how they both coped with them, especially seeing as how independent and carer and goal focuses they both were. I loved the 'compromise', enough said.
As always I have enjoyed seeing the girls together, the love and support they give each other, this time I got a bonus with the second epilogue having all the girls together years later catching up, so nice to read. I have enjoyed this series very much.

You never know what you will find when you wander the woods at night...
Summer Love in the Forest is the fifth and last book in the Summer Instalove series. This final story is about Kate and Ray. Kate's staycation takes her to the forest and right into the arms of Ray as she wanders off the hiking trail and ends up lost. He finds her and before you know it they are attracted to each other and having some fun. Ray is a big, strong, handsome and very sexy man. He is also a talented wood worker, in more ways than one. Kate is the last of the girl friends to get her courage, try something new and find her man.
I received a copy of this book for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
Wonderfully written! There isn't a Haley Travis written that I haven't enjoyed! Kate is strong and driven, a gifted songwriter, and like her friends, shy with men. Ray is a talented woodworker, caring, loyal, and a bit of a loner. I love how Ray quickly realizes just how much Kate means to him, how he's all in. Kate takes a little more time, not realizing until she tries to run from her feelings just how much Ray has captured her heart. This is a great wrap up to the series, with the epilogue in particular giving us a glimpse into the future of these wonderful couples. Happy Reading!!

A phenomenal last book in the Summer Instalove series! It is a beautifully written, well-developed, emotionally deep, romantic, sweet, and engaging page turner with some back and forth and ups and downs. The characters are likeable; the chemistry between them is intense, instant, and undeniable. This series is very entertaining and has met and exceeded my expectations and I look forward to reading more from this author. Definitely recommended!

Absolutely loved this girls group and their pact to find courage to meet guys. Ray actually finds her in the woods and gets her to safety. Both are obsessed with their craft and are scared of the whole relationship scenario. The characters are awesome and the backstories are terrific. The honesty and trust are the center of this relationship, with neither of them able to hold back their thoughts when together. If this was number 5, then I need to catch up on 1-4 quickly.

The author has finished the series by having the story about Kate and her encounter with Ray. They each love being alone and not having to share their lives with anyone else, until they meet their soulmate. The story also concludes the roads each woman has taken and where they have ended up.

Ray is a woodsman. Kate is a creative songwriter. They both like to be alone. They both are creative but in different ways. This is a sweet romantic story. The characters are well developed and have chemistry.

Wow, this took the speed of light into steamland! Very OTT and instalove, but great escapism. Nice to get some insight into the other four friends’ lives and some closure to the series. I really enjoyed these lights, sugary sweet, spicy books! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Haley Travis concludes her 5-part Summer Love series with Sunmer Love in the Forest. Kate escapes to a cabin in the woods for her vacation, intent in getting an album's worth of songs written. Day one, she encounters Ray, a furniture builder managing his brother's cabin rentals for the month, when she gets injured in a rainy hike. Despite their age difference, both are at the same point in their lives - stuck in their ways, directly independent, never having had nor knowing how to be in a relationship. Watching them navigate through that while being burned up by their explosive chemistry results in a very hot, sweet and steamy instalove romance.
