The Chicano Art Collectors Anonymous began in the early 1990s as a loose association of Chicano artists and private collectors in the Los Angeles area. The exhibition that is the subject of this catalog (from the Santa Monica Museum of Art; Chon A. Noriega) examines seven major collections owned by members of the group. The edition includes b&w photos of the collectors with their artwork, essays on the collectors and the artists whose work they collect, and 16 color plates reproducing highlights of the collections.
