I’m a country girl at heart, an author, a homesteader, and a lover of all things simple living. My passion lies in capturing the essence of the simpler side of life, much like the one I enjoyed growing up in rural Pennsylvania.

My life has always been intricately linked with Amish culture, and it’s only fitting that I have a deep, genuine love for their simplicity, sense of community, and God-centered way of living.

Growing up in Northwest Pennsylvania, I spent my childhood immersed in the heart of Amish Country. The rhythmic clip-clop of horse and buggies was my morning soundtrack as Amish men journeyed past my home to work. A pivotal moment in my young life was shaped by a tragic Amish murder, a story detailed in “Crimson Stain” by Jim Fisher. Jake, a key figure in that true story, was my uncle.

Now residing in South Carolina, my family and I frequently travel through the Amish regions of Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, and Wisconsin. These journeys are not just visits but research expeditions. I take pride in writing Amish fiction that authentically represents their culture, thanks to the invaluable insights from friends within these communities.

If the Amish lifestyle fascinates you, join me on Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, and check back here often for new short stories and updates on upcoming book releases. Together, let’s explore the serene and captivating world of the Amish.

Wow, what a wonderful conclusion to this series. I couldn't stop reading Daniel's story by Tracy Fredrychowski. The characters are true to life with struggles, secrets, and having to face their past. Daniel was a lovable young man until his world was shattered with his family’s lies and deceit. There are multiple twists and turns, unexpected happenings where Daniel had to make a choice which road he was going to follow. Each character played an important role, Emma from book one, Marie from book two and new characters in this read. Daniel’s story is filled with a mystery thread, well kept secrets, troubled family members, forgiveness and coming to accept the past with a new faith and love for God and family. I highly recommend readers read Secrets of Willow Springs, book one and two before reading book three to have a fuller picture and admiration for all the characters.

Tracy Fredrychowski is one gifted author with all her research, characters that are relatable to individuals we know, as well as families who have faced similar struggles as Daniel does in this book. The spiritual truths are gently woven through the series that shows God’s faithfulness, grace, mercy and love is for all.

I received a complimentary ARC e-book from the author without any obligation to write a positive review. I have shared my own thoughts.

I’ve been waiting since book 2 for this and except for the wait I was not disappointed. I had this read in a little over 24 hours but that included sleep and some errands. When reading it I couldn’t put it down. Honestly it came out the 30th of April and on the 1st of May I thought I was only about 35% through it but when I went to continue reading I was 50%. I absolutely loved this series.

A book that I enjoyed very much!
This is definitely a hold your breath and sit on the edge of your seat type of book.
My favorite thing about this author is the way she writes about the toughest subject and brings it to life.
I finished this book in a little under an hour because it was so good. Now I wished I'd have savored it just a little longer.
Sometimes it can be hard to forgive those who have hurt us in the past believe me, I know. But to face the future we have to let go of past hurts and learn to forgive others. It's what Jesus wants us to do.
I'm sad to see this series end. This is the best one yet.
I'm also looking forward to seeing what she comes out with next!
I highly recommend
My thanks for a copy of this ebook. I was NOT required to write a positive review and all opinions are my own.

Good but needs to be edited for grammar.

Wish I had the chance to proof this book. Quite a few grammar issues. Good story just needs an editor.

Secrets of Willow Springs Book 3 ( The Amish of Lawrence County) by Tracy Fredrychowski
You could read this as a stand alone I suppose however you would miss out on a lot of the back story so I would suggest you read books 1&2 in order to understand and get the full picture to this point.
I don’t believe in giving spoilers but let be just give you a little picture and my review of this wonderful book.
This is Daniel’s story and I can tell you we all have known a Daniel in our life, Steadfast, loving and all around good guy. But what happens when that old adage comes into play? ( The Apple does not fall to far from the Tree) Also even thou yes this is a fiction book Tracy has done a fantastic job at showing through her character (Daniel ) that realistically many of us just as Daniel has he spent all his time taking care of everyone else seeing to their needs then when he least expected it his world crumbles and he needs to look deep within and pull from the faith that was once so forefront in his life. He needs to learn through others the value of true Forgiveness, to take the step to forgive himself and to know that God is by his side in all things and always has been even in his darkest days.
I can’t say enough about this book and for that matter series! I loved everything about it and I truly look forward to future books by this author. I was given an advanced copy of this book for my honest Opinion and I can honestly say I would highly recommend this book as well as the series.

This has been a wonderful series by Tracy Fredrychowski. The characters are very well-defined and have drawn me into following their stories. It’s obvious that the author is familiar with Amish customs and traditions. She writes these stories with respect for their lifestyle, but also presents their lives as “real people” who struggle with many of the same issues that we do.

This third book in the series continues the stories of Daniel and Emma, a brother and sister who were separated when very young as they were adopted into two different families. When they are finally reunited, things don’t go as smoothly as Emma has hoped. Daniel was raised in a series of foster homes until he was adopted by a good family. Emma was adopted into a happy Amish home. Daniel is trying to escape from tragic memories in his past, and he’s attempting to find that escape in drinking excessively. Emma and Daniel both have to come to terms with their past before they can find the future that God has for them. There are themes of forgiveness, compassion, and hope that weave in and out of the storyline. It’s an inspiring story that challenged me to always continue in prayer for those who are struggling.

Be aware of this: This story is appropriately written from a Christian point of view as the author tackles difficult issues of alcoholism and child abuse. The author does not go into deep detail about these issues. But if these are triggers for you, you’ll want to keep that in mind as you read this book.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher. All opinions are my own.

A TOUCHING STORY OF FAITH AND REDEMPTION
Written with candid style and grace Book three in the Secrets of Willow Springs will have you reading page after page to see the conclusion of the story but not wanting it to end. The descriptions of the characters and setting make you feel as if you have walked into the pages and become a bystander watching as the story unfolds.
In Book three, the secrets that have haunted Daniel Miller all of his life will come to light and the truth will be revealed. Other characters Emma Byler and Maggie Cooper also find their truth along the way drawing from their faith to stay grounded.
This three book series deals with some serious life issues such as the foster care system which was a difficult situation for Daniel. Placed in the system as a child Daniel suffered much abuse that haunted him. Anger and alcoholism play a role as Daniel struggles to handle his growing anger and resentment as the truth, his truth, begins to unravel. Lies and deception and the power of forgiveness make this a riveting story
line.
This story touched my heart. Life can be so uncertain and its in those difficult times that we turn to our faith to carry us through. Tracy Fredrychowski has written a book that accurately displays Amish life, the Amish home, and interactions between the English and the Amish with such loving compassion readers will be deeply touched.
This is a ten star rating from this reader!

This book wraps up the Secrets of Willow Springs trilogy, and what a conclusion it is! Author Tracy Fredrychowski pulls out all of the punches to share Daniel Miller's story in book 3, and I found myself experiencing many of the emotions that a well-written story can evoke. Sadness, surprise, and even shock, as I realized why Daniel was going down a certain path. The bitterness that he felt toward a family member, a painful secret that he'd kept locked inside, and the way that he coped with it all. Was it right? Is excessive alcohol use ever the answer? Certainly not, but the delicate subjects of excessive drinking and child abuse are handled with extreme care. Fredrychowski shows that forgiveness is possible, and redemption can be achieved, when we allow God to work in our lives.

"If you want me to forgive, you'll need to put it on my heart because you know it's hard. I don't want to be angry anymore."

All three books in this series have been intriguing and inspiring, and it's apparent that this author knows and appreciates the Amish way of life. She understands that Amish people experience pain and heartache, and their struggles are no different than anyone else. Secrets of Willow Springs 3 is a wonderful story of love, hope, trust, and forgiveness, and I recommend it to all who enjoy Christian fiction.

I accepted a complimentary e-book from the author. There was no obligation for a positive review and I am voluntarily sharing my own thoughts.

Secrets of Willow Springs – Book 3

By, Tracy Fredrychowski

A story of inspiration and redemption

Secrets of Willow Springs Book 3 is Daniel Miller’s story. This book takes to a different side of Amish life. Daniel was adopted by an English family when he was young and his little sister by an Amish Family. Daniel has close ties to the Amish community. In Book 2, Daniel and Emma learned they are brother and sister by birth, but grew up differently. Daniel has some bad memories from his youth and it leads him to drink and drink a lot. Daniel was falling in love with an Amish girl, Katie, who is Emma’s best friend. The drinking becomes a problem, a serious problem and people in the Amish Community of Willow Springs start to ban him from their homes. Katie is banned by her father from seeing Daniel. Daniel takes Emma to see their Birth Mother and to see her marry. During this time Daniel faces his demons. He knows he can’t see Katie without facing his hard childhood.

This is a well written book and so honest. If you have ever faced alcoholism in your family or to someone close to you, this will hit home, but in a good way. I found myself cheering on Daniel as he put himself together again. I urge you to read this very different Amish story.

This was Daniel's story and what a story it is. A story of forgiveness, love and God's Grace. Daniel had to learn to forgive others and many times, ask others to forgive him. For Daniel, he has a bad past and its not an easy road to forgiveness. Uncle Jay, he was my favorite character. Showing Daniel he needs to talk to his grandfather and forgive him as well. Plus he helped Daniel see that what he was doing was wrong. Tracy Fredrychowski is a great writer and I can not wait to read the next series. I was given an ARC in return of an honest review.. I would recommend reading the first 2 stories so.you will know the characters background..

I have been waiting for Daniel’s story because he has been one of my favorites throughout this series. I was definitely not disappointed, surprised, for sure, but it was not completely unexpected, given everything he has been through. I suggest you read the first two books to get to know what the characters have experienced and how far they have come.

I have enjoyed getting to know these flawed characters and already miss spending time with them, but I imagine the author is already working on creating new places to visit and new characters for her readers.

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book. All opinions are completely my own.

Forgiveness and Faith

This is Book 3 in a series and it does not disappoint. Emma and Samuel, Katie and Daniel, Melvin and Lillian are all wonderful characters who capture your heart. Each couple will teach the reader the need for Forgiveness in our life. If you are a fan of Amish Fiction you will love this visit to Willow Springs. Tracy Fredrychowski has a gift for writing about the Amish lifestyle, their Faith, and beliefs. I hope to return to Willow Springs soon.

Life struggles

Letting go of past hurts and terrors is not a easy thing but with God’s help and love getting back to him is what we need. We need to trust in his plan for us, as in the book. We need to stop looking at where we are going and being more aware of where are and content.

Emma, Daniel, Katie and Samuel

Emma and Katie have been friends forever. When Emma finds finds out she's not really the daughter of her parents and her friend Daniel are actually brother and sister, their lives take a big change.. To read their story is eye opening and a very wonderful story to read. Enjoy.

I thoroughly enjoyed this series! This another great read by Tracy! I love her style of writing. The romance is great and reminding us to rely on God for His plans not ours is what we all need to hear sometimes. The characters are wonderful. I am so glad that I have another series to look forward to by Tracy.

Growing up is never easy.

Almish friendship is a way of Life that many can't understand. Although God loves us and helps each step of our way,, Almish go to a stronger Faith that is more strict and almost reminds of the Old Testament rules of Life.. Love has a way of crossing over beliefs and each Person must choose the Paths they will follow.

I really enjoyed this book it is The Amish of Lawrence County #3. It was such a good books some of the characters in the book were Amish and then there were a few that weren't. It was neat how the ones that weren't knew what was right for the Amish but still tried to convince a few to go over the line. Tracy hit the ball out up the left field line and passed the left fielder for a triple!

Three Book Series

I throughly enjoyed the first two books of the series but had to wait for the third one to come out. By the time it did, I’d forgotten the storyline of the first two. I decided to start over and read book 1-3. I enjoyed them the second time even more.

The series was good to read and focused on anyone's daily life struggles.. The verbal interaction made it easy to get to know the characters. family loyalty is very important and that was a Hugh emphasis of each book in the series.

Confusion

I found the book confusing. It kept switching from Mother’s and not explaining what in the past had caused the rift between the parents.
