Human Darkness

Rate this book
This poetry book turns our shadows, the things we do that hold us back or things others do that hurt us, into caricatures inspired by animals and plants. I hope the light this shines brings comfort or inspires us to let go of our darkness. Readers find it a refreshingly funny and evocative look at people, which I hope you'll find cathartic and/or enlightening.

Dark & Beautifully Engaging

I really enjoyed this collection of poetry. The imagery Lara creates with each piece is amazing. The way the descriptions of non-human elements perfectly describe humanity is very intriguing.
