Bubbles: Who's Zoomin Who?

Rate this book
Bubbles has been making the most of his share of the pearl heist, running a highly successful diamond mine in South Africa. However, it has to be said, he sometimes misses the camaraderie of his old mates and life in London. On a flying visit home, he discovers that MI6 have his previous misdemeanours on their radar, and he finds himself strong-armed into undertaking a mission - ostensibly to serve his queen and country.
Tasked with befriending a high-ranking Chinese official in Hong Kong, with the assistance of a disturbingly attractive secret agent, Bubbles is soon embroiled in the murky world of gambling and political chicanery. He decides to call on his old London gang as back-up, but as they gather in the luxurious surroundings of a Macau casino, Bubbles starts to suspect that he is being set up and that the lovely Kim Li is not quite what she seems.
The fake Heart of Eternity diamond is the bait that will lure his target in, but when one of his best friends is shot, Bubbles must draw on all his resources to deceive and dispose of those who are out to harm them...
