Useful reference for early Christianity. Entries are short and manageable, making this a good book to keep in a CH classroom. A few key entries are missing (terms referred to in certain entries, but without an entry of their own, or a link to a key proponent), but overall the content is good. Due to the short nature of the entries, they can sometimes lack nuance, but if this is used as a reference text in conjunction with primary sources and monographs, there shouldn't be many problems.
