Delta Force operative Bobby Alvarez is recuperating on Emerald Island, Florida following an op-gone-badly, which he can't remember. When Mel Mackenzie catches his attention while on the beach, that changes the course of their lives forever.
Mel's on the run and disguised because she overheard a confession of murder and now she's fearing for her life. Bobby's got sort of a sixth sense where he can anticipate a threat before it shows up and it comes in handy when he goes all in to help out Mel. There's lots of action and suspense and I liked how their relationship developed. He comes from a large, close family who had significant roles in the story. I loved the family dynamics as they helped shape my sense of the character, who was also suffering from a traumatic brain injury. I learned more about Mel as the details regarding her reasons for fleeing unfolded. Both were well developed characters as a result.
I liked the balance between the suspense and romance with the former tipping the scales slightly, just like I like it. This is the third book in the series and the first for me. I almost never read out of order and even though the connected characters show up here, I was never lost or felt like I was missing something. However, I definitely plan to go back and begin from the beginning. I like these characters and the storytelling. This one really worked for me.

Lots of action an and attraction
This book had a little bit of ever for the reader. The manly hero, the girl in trouble, the running and hiding. It was exciting to read all the problems they had. By reading other books in this series i was aware of the strong family connection. As family is important to me i really respected that in the storyline.

The headlines senators press secretary missing, for two months she tried not to draw attention. Cleaning beach houses for money, who could help clear her, a journalist, even that was a gamble. She was tired of worrying, the hiding, lying to people, all from being too trusting.
Booby is dealing with an op that went badly, and he is injured. His sixth sense telling him that Missy is in trouble, especially after the hitmen find her. A rollercoaster of running and who to trust. Touch of romance and good reading to the end.

A well written story and full of action. Bobby is on leave after being hurt on a mission and not remembering how he lost one of the unit. Melanie is trying to stay alive being framed with murder and treason and hitmen trying to kill her. She working for a cleaning company on a beach. He staying at one of the beach houses but he's been watching her and thinks something not right.He tries to help her and keeps her safe. Great read😊😊😀😀

A really great adventure avoiding those that want to kill you but find a knight to a rescue!
Master Sargent Alverez is sent to recover but can't help himself to serve and protect. Mel is on the run to save her life. Betrayal, suspense, politics and hit men. A fast paced story but the romance absolutely perfect. How you can't fall in love with this couple is beside me.

Great thriller
This story kept you on your toes until the end. So much drama. Bobby and Mel made such a good couple. They saved each other physically and emotionally. Can't wait to find out what happens next!

This book is OMG wonderful and a perfect example of what everyone wants in a relationship, whether they admit it or not. For myself I would take and keep Bobby.

Great seried
All 3 were fast paced and full of intrigue and romance. Loved all the strong and quirky characters. Good solid strong men and women made these books very enjoyable.
