Fantastic book with very legitimate advice. Would recommend for people starting out on their journey dealing with panic attacks or wanting somewhere to start when learning about how panic attacks work. Simple, but the biggest downside is that it is a short read. This book would be a very good companion for someone who is also starting out with treatment.

My thoughts: this was a really informative lil read on understanding panic attacks, why they may occur, your potential triggers and coping with panic attacks It was really useful and a really easy read with everything being in sections and straight to the point. It unpacked the different symptoms of panic attacks and explained why each of these symptoms are completely normal to feel during panic attacks, which makes you feel less alone It included lots of different activities to help you understand your panic attacks more and these activities are really useful, and they all seemed relatively quick to do as well which is fab
This has changed my perspective after the 14 years I have lived with anxiety. I will be using these exercises throughout my daily life to help leave the safe behaviours and extreme anxiety behind.

I have struggled with panic disorder for over 10 years and this book has given me so much confidence to deal with any future panic attacks. It gives explanations about bodily functions and I now have a better understanding of what happens during each panic attack and why! This book helps you understand that you must allow these emotions to occur and your body will learn to work through them.
Nie podoba mi się że radzenie sobie z lękiem i atakami paniki przyrównuje do walki. Jakoś mi nie siedzi takie nazewnictwo. Ogólnie ciekawa, chociaż nie dla mnie - ataków paniki nie doświadczyłam, a o samym lęku raczej niewiele.
