This was a great find. It's a short book, only about 80 pages, but I enjoyed the content. It was enjoyable to read about his travels. And yes, it's a lot of traveling the sea, drinking and sex at almost every port, and accounts of his family life during this time. Is he a good person? Eh. However, it was definitely worth the read for me.
Reading first hand accounts of travels and experiences has always held my interest. The ability to "see" new places, people, and things from another person's point of view. I'd recommend it as a good quick read for anyone who likes accounts of travel, adventure, or travels on the sea.
