This book seems to be the reference book for leaders and professionals aiming to understand where artificial intelligence opportunities and threats may appear. This 4th revolution is focused on “ machines ability to act intelligently and act independently “. If you still think this is a buzz word this book will convince you otherwise. For few years already AI has permeated into products (e.g smart machinery John Deere, Clothing or Customer journey), services ( subscription – Netflix, remote foot measurement) or even business processes(e.g RPA Uipath, Automated factories 3D). It goes without saying mobility has also been impacted by autonomous cars and automated drones, ships(Falco) and smart weapons. Manufacturing itself is facing a transformation …. Smart glasses, smart machinery, smart surfaces(Hypersurfaces) to intelligent power plants. Along this journey the critical success factor will remains people needs and culture, their resilience and adapting power along with overcoming cognitive biases and learning. Change is of essence along this journey……from smart home to fraud prevention. It might be the path to a better society and sustainable business environment but without ethics will create dystopian 2030+.

YZ dünyasına girmek teknoloji yatırımı ile değil strateji ile başlamalı. Stratejimizi buna göre oluşturmalıyız. YZ'yı ömrünü doldurmuş ya da geçerliliğini yitirmiş bir iş modeline uygulamaya çalışmak boşunadır. Öncesinde iş stratejinizi yenilemeniz gerekir. YZ ile ilgili rol model almak, bilincimizi bu konuya paralel hale getirmek ve kullanım örneklerinden feyiz almak için güzel bir kitap.

Bernard Marr is a leader in the field of Big Data, AI, and analytics and so I was looking forward to reading this book. The book exceeded all my expectations. Whether you are a techie (like me) looking to expand your knowledge, a business leader who wants to know what all the fuss is about and/or how to use AI to increase efficiency and profits, or a student who wants to learn a highly coveted skill, this book will help all types of readers. As always the author presents a hard, complex topic in an extremely engaging manner.

Bence gayet güzel bir kitaptı. YZ ile elde edilebilecekler üzerine ufuk açıyor. Ancak kimse sadece bir kitap dinleyip YZ gurusu olmayı, şirketinde dönüşüme giderek çığır açmayı ummasın. Böyle bir beklentiyle dinlemeyin. Kitap genel bilgiler içeriyor ve konuyu "yeterince" detaylandırıyor. Son olarak, 10 yıl sonra bugünkü mesleklerin %85'inin olmayacağına yönelik beklenti aklımda kaldı. Umarım bu teknoloji doğru şekilde geliştirilir ve bir gün esiri olmayız.

Bernard Matt is a reference for new technologies based in AI and ML. I recommend to read it to understand how is going on in the following years and how to be ready for next future. Many chapters on this book need to keep as references.

Bu kitabın yayınlanmasından bugüne kadar geçen kısa surede olan ilerlemeler ve katedilen yol bile inanılmaz. Çok kısa surede futuristik gibi görünen ornekler out of date kalabilir

Yapay zeka üzerine güncel teknolojilerden gelmiş geçmiş gelecek güzel bir bağ kurmuş yapay zekaya yeni başlayacaklar ve genel bilgi düzeyi olanlar için faydalı.
Özellikle özel sektördeki orta düzey yönetici ve üst yöneticiler için kamudaki de üst düzey yöneticiler için faydalı olacağını düşünüyorum
