I hesitate to rate this book too highly due to the intense self reflection it requires as a reader. This book was not written to be fun or entertaining but rather as a means to raise awareness of ones self and to grow us in the following areas; Purity, Integrity, Contentedness, Humility, Temperance, and more. If you want a challenging book that will leave you feeling empowered to be “better” this is your book. This book is specifically targeted to elders & pastors in ministry looking to live a Biblically accurate and God-honoring lifestyle. My only complaint was the lack of flair & old style writing. I wish there would be an updated version that included more “modern” language and a less legalistic/black & white mentality. Overall solid read based on Biblical truths that is essential for all pastors/elders.
