Police officer Quentin Mackenney is still heartbroken from watching the love of his life marry someone else and reeling from breaking up with his new girlfriend before they really had a chance to be together like he wanted. His older brother Hunter has begged him to move on, maybe get out of their small country town, but it's home and Quentin would rather stay forever single than leave. He can't let anyone else in no matter how much he wants to until he becomes involved in a police investigation that not only threatens his career but also puts his heart on the line.
A writer of loveable Aussie heroes. Queen of Angst and Drama
Caz May is a librarian/teacher by trade but was always destined to be an author from a young age. In her spare time, she can be found devouring books or writing her own stories with characters that may not be the typical romance heroes but are loveable just as much. Caz is married to her own real-life bearded hero and has two fur babies. She lives for Iced coffee, especially from Gloria Jeans or a Farmers Union but pretty much just loves food in general. When she’s not writing or reading a book most likely she can probably be found asleep or binge-watching shows on Netflix.
This story is raw and brings a feeling of vulnerability. The intro is so riveting you’ll be that absorbed in this story you’ll be stuck in the pages. Unlawful Attachment by Caz May may well be her most foreboding yet heartfelt book I’ve read of hers. I enjoyed seeing more of the familiar faces while meeting new ones. This comes recommended.
Really enjoyed this story. It went a completely different route than I thought it would at the start, it was a very nice surprise. It was raw, emotional, very sexy. It's also tension filled story but I think if there was less change of pov, it would be even more tense. I enjoyed all the books in de MacKenney family saga but this is by far my favourite.
