Unlocking important questions with WHY

I read this book to my 5 year old daughter who already asks many Why questions. During the story she started asking her own set of Why questions. I gave this book three stars as there were several Why questions raised and the answers were not provided. I had to stop and explain each question before proceeding to the next page.

This is a great book for not only teachers but parents to read and remember the more the child ask why the more they are learning. As a teacher you are always asking why or why not so using why more often can help the child learn more higher thinking questions and answers. Thank you for letting me read and review it.

I was a rather inquisitive child (and I like to think I still am), so I really wish my parents would have had this book when I was younger! They probably got tired of me asking questions at every turn, but this book teaches us that asking questions is actually a great thing to do. After all, how can we possibly learn if we don't ask "Why?"

Why did we win this book? We don't know why but we sure are glad we did! Thank you so much! It opens up lots more why questions that we can look up and learn about and laugh about! If you have a question read this book!

I book to try to encourage your "Why?" asker to expand their question and think about what it is they really want to know.
