L. Ann started with the Baxters and followed that with multiple series and genres. While her books feature paranormal, FBI, ex-military and Badass Bikers, L. Ann is writing about the strong women that these men need in their life to help right the world's wrongs and keep their small part of the world safe. The women are extraordinary, strong and determined to make a difference.
The men fight for right in every book. Yes, they kill people. Yes, the MC shoots at the bad guys’ feet to cause them pain. Yes, some throw tampons at each other regularly.
That being said, they do these things while stopping human trafficking and experimentation, bringing their world into legitimate businesses, fighting gangs to keep drugs away from their town and kids, keep women sheltered safely while trying to stop domestic abuse. These are men that don’t leave a pack, Team member or Brother behind. They don’t treat women as possessions and they don’t cheat. Respect takes on an honorable meaning. Women and kids are cherished. Everyone is looked out for and everyone is equal.
L. Ann has made amazing worlds, tackled the taboo subjects and made it easy to imagine living in a world where your protection comes from the vampires, shifters, freaky kids, albinos and orientals, military turned FBI and some Badass Bikers.
With readers writing about rereading the series over and over, she feels like she’s told her characters’ stories in a way that would make them proud.
Every book will make you laugh, every book will make you angry for the wrong that happens in the world. Every book will make you cry for the pain that a character feels. Every book gives you hope that we may just get it right yet

This book had it all. Twists, turns, intrigue and definitely OMG moments! And the connections!!! Badass Mass, FBI, Indians, OG 2nd Generations and my all time favourite.. Harper the Great! This is a continuation of the Series and it is a must must must! Read. Jinx has been there right from the beginning of the Phoenix series and you see him throughout all the books. In the last book he was seriously injured. This book builds his character and his relationship with Debra. At times it seems like the relationship was a sideline to what was going on in the book but hell, this book packed a punch and covered so much that you really don't mind that at all.
To get the full enjoyment from this book, reading all the previous books by L Ann Marie is a must from the Baxter series through the MC series and you must include the Providence Series.
LOVED this book!

Awesome

It never ceases to amaze me how L Ann Marie can write a book and draw you in! I love the multiple people and scenarios that are in each book. The continued story line and all the people being tied in is a great addition. Jinx was a great example of this. Read from the beginning and you'll be hooked too. Can't wait for the next book!

AMAZING!!!!

First this is a sequel to Allegory, so read that FIRST . Second, you really need to read the whole series starting with Masters Rise to get all the players. NOW, for those of us who are hardcore L Ann Marie fans... OMFG!!! THIS BOOK WAS EPIC !! There was so much it's hard to know what to mention, so I'll hit the basics. Love Jinx!!! Just love him! I think because of what happens with Brinks ( btw he had me 😢😡 seriously I needed tissues) his book will be interesting . There is so much mixing of Mass Bada$$ and Phoenix BSC plus other favorite characters that this was just an intense crazy ride !! I'll be rereading this one quite a few times this month just to make sure I didn't miss anything 😁 JUST LOVE WHEN THAT HAPPENS !!!

This book had me captivated from the first page to the last. As we follow along on the PBSC journey we find out more and more about the threat to the Alphabits and all the Mc. This is Jinx and Debra’s story. Following on from the last book we know Jinx was injured protecting the As, this is his story of recovery and his journey to finding love. This book not only tells their love story but it develops more and more of the on going plot behind all the attacks. We get to catch up with more of our beloved previous characters and their grownup kids. It’s like taking a walk down memory lane but at the same time it’s new and exciting. Once you start reading, you won’t know wether to laugh or cry. The humour is infectious but the seriousness is heartbreaking at times. This is an excellently scripted series of books that will capture your heart and imagination from the first page to the last. Awesome book

The tech in this book is pretty freaking awesome

The healing process for Jinx, is pretty awesome to watch. Debra is not even in my top 5 favorite Ole Lady list. Definitely not a book to pick up and just dive right on into, without having read any of the other books from L. Ann Marie first. There is so much back story and other characters, that play key roles.

Jinx and Debra

First star - Jinx's injuries. Second star - acknowledging racism and doing something about it. Third star - dealing with gender issues. Fourth star - the shout out to Octavia Butler. And the best for last finding out Web and his rescued brother Michael are related to Hamp and Garron Ford.

Omg, this series just blows me away. Definitely have to read in order. I have read this series 6 times, usually when one 2 new ones come out. Still alpha bikers all the way. I love that the next gen are coming out while still showing the original characters. The story is never ending. I love it and hope more on the way.

Yah!!! Love Jinx!!

I was worried about the connection between Jinx and Debra at first but then you feel it about half way through. I was afraid something was going to happen to her. Glad I was proven wrong because I like Debra. Glad Brinks gets a reality check but things get explained as well. But overall I loved Jinx and Debras story.

Awesome

Jinx and Debra are the main characters in this one and then we get some from the FBI , and of course we get the Princes kids and they are awesome, Jinx and Debra have a misunderstanding at first but that changes and these two are perfect for each.

Lesson learned

My heart ached for brinks, all that abuse and negativity hurled at him since he was young. Living life fighting for good, I wish your world was real. I'd love to live in it

Love this series! Loved Jinx and Debra 's story

Jinx Salaita, VP of Champion. He and his twin Brinks grew up with Cord. The attack at the water plant left Jinx with critical injuries. Debra, AJ's friend who works IT at Champion, was their for him. Mitch through technology and the healers gave him back his vision, and the use of his arm and legs.
Now Debra doesn't seen to have time for him. His twin is angry all the time and acting like an ass. The brothers think he is a cyborg or a robot. The usual glass half full Jinx is having a harder and harder time seeing brotherhood. That doesn't stop him from working on his book about brotherhood and the lessons he has learned.
Stella Jackson has his back, while she butts heads and traded insults with his brother. Mase Blackhawk is checking in, on everyone.
After using his new eyes on an assist in stopping a hit on the A's, he feels the brotherhood again. Understanding cyborg and robot were not meant as digs or insults. His Debra is right their, her lack of time for him explained. She stakes her claim.
His brother hostility is getting worse and he cuts Jinx out. He is verbally abusive to Stella and Debra. Things don't get better even when confronted.
The club's face a betrayal by long trusted members.
Breken Graywolf comes home, and renews old friendships. He has retired from the FBI and taken the position of VP under Majors. Harper has no problem fitting in with the old ladies and helping out Alder.
Web finds what happened to his twin brother, Michael. The FBI get involved. Ford and Gerren find younger twin brothers they didn't know they had. Another international player is eliminated.
Jordan has Brinks in therapy and with the healers. Jinx has his brother back.
I love this series! Mase Blackhawk is so like Uncle Danny, he has the pulse of all the club's and seems to know just what everyone needs. Just like Uncle Danny he has his own way of getting things done.
Berken's ties to Crow and joining the MC was unexpected and perfect. He is a perfect VP. Harper is a born old lady. Can't wait for Mayor's club 's story.
Stella is her mother's daughter. She has caught the eye of both Jordan and Brinks. Hannah thinks Jordan needs a tirad. She likes Stella with Jordan and Brinks. Can't wait to see how that plays out. Can't wait for Beacons story.

Twins All Over The Place

This book continues the story of Jinx and Debra, who started their relationship in Allegory. Jinx is the VP of Champion and was raised in the club. Jinx and Brinks, his twin brother, had a difficult time of it, having an emotionally abusive father, who raised them, until his death. Then Crow took them in and raised them on the Reservation. After Crow died they were ‘adopted’ into Cort’s family and when Cort’s Dad died as well, everyone kind of lost their way. Despite the many tragic deaths Jinx has had to deal with, he is still incredibly positive, cheerful and engaged with the world around him. He is very intelligent and works hard to understand the way things work and as an obsessive puzzle solver.

Debra was raised by Amish parents and managed to finally get away to college, where she met AJ when she studied IT. AJ helped her get the IT Second’s job at Champion after graduation and she and Jinx hit it off, despite her fear of the club’s way of doing things. This hesitation was the reason the relationship started out so slowly in the previous book. This book is about what decisions she makes about the way her life is going to go, whether she is going to let her parent’s way of life stop her from being happy.

I’ve always liked Jinx and he goes through the mill a bit in this book, recovering from the injuries sustained when a grenade went off during an attack. This incident showed the way Badass comes together when life gets tough.

There’s more Alpha-bits stuff, more connections drawn between East Coast and West Coast BSC and between PBSC and the Masons. Once again it’s a fun positive story, that entertains and explores better ways of living life.

Another amazing read.

I was so happy to see Jinx progress in his recovery and overcome so much. Debra started off as a hard sell for me, I was really struggling to like her then BAM she came through.

I’m loving the Prince kids coming into their own and the lessons they learned are helping spread their beliefs.
