Unspoken
A poignant story of love, loss and redemption, spanning almost fifty years in a changing Ireland. Sinéad and Jack first meet as students in the 1970s, and their lives intersect over the following years, taking them from Dublin to Geneva, from Paris to Washington. The secrets they have in common draw them together again and again, with unforeseen consequences that Sinéad will keep from him for thirty years… until her funeral. In a culture of concealment, where inconvenient truths are hidden or ignored, what secrets will finally be revealed?

Beautifully written
This book is a moving account of one woman's journey to find the son she gave up for adoption. It is a real insight into the life of a birth mother, or 'other mother ' as her son introduces her when they finally meet. We see her struggles and successes as she navigates her personal and professional life, never giving up, always digging deep to find resources to keep moving forward.
