Welcome to the world of Indian Mythology.This is my first book which compromises of 2 short stories re-imagined from Indian mythology. The first story speaks of the sacrifice of the King Shibi and the other one, the sacrifice of King Bali. Both the kings were from the scion of demons, but very generous and righteous.Story -I The king Shibi faces the dilemma of choosing himself over an injured dove, trying to escape a falcon.Story -II The great king Bali faces a situation where he needs to choose amongst himself or the underworld for the Asuras.There is a message which both the story shares and the reader would find it interesting to explore how our two kings behave in two different situations. Since my childhood, I have been fascinated with the stories which my grandfather used to narrate to me. Being an author, I have tried to keep the basic jest of the story as it is, while adding a little imagination from my side. I hope, this blend of moral and the re-imagination from my side would add a great flavor in making the story a good read.
