More hot and hunkiness for the Federal Paranormal Unit. I have read books that label wyverns as lesser than dragons but Gorri proves that just isn't so. Kimberly and Larimer have some great chemistry and lots of steaminess between the sheets.
This is a case of insta-love and insta-mating but their characters came off as full and fleshed out. In more ways than one ;)
I do wish I could say the same for the villian. He comes of as a little flat and his screen time seems cut short.

The second book did a great job of keeping the series steamy. Once again we are given characters that quite enjoyable. The story is filled with action, romance and even a bit of humor. Kimberly and Larimar were perfect together. I can't wait for the next Wessex to find his mate. I received an advanced copy and this is my voluntary review.

It’s been a while since I’ve hit the wyvern books and boy let me tell you I’ve been very excited about it. Gorri once again shows why she’s one of the best. I enjoyed Larimar and Kimberlys book. Just the right amount of action and always the right amount of boom chicka wow wow 🤭 that Gorri is known for. I was actually shocked about Kimberly and Gorri will tell you that Kim’s secret will definitely have me fanboy-ing 😂. This book definitely had its funny moments… all I will say is Gorilla, also poor Jasper 🤭. I’m excited about the next book. I’m still waiting to see a certain great horned owl meet her match. There’s something about that gal. 🤔😏. This lonely bear gave this book 5 🦍🦍🦍🦍🦍 gorillas 🙈. I enjoyed it!

Archaeologist Kimberley (h) is being framed for the theft of Egyptian artifacts, and given the nature of the items and an attempt on her life, she’s assigned a bodyguard, Larimar (H). Simply looking at her photo has Larimar’s Wyvern insisting she’s his mate and their initial meeting is amazingly funny. Things quickly heat up between the two, even as Larimar tries to protect what’s his and keep the unknown enemy from harming Kimberley. Sweet shifter romance with a bit of drama, lots of hot and steamy action, a magical threat, and a bunch of things to make you laugh.

Loved it!

Another fantastic story for the books! Ha! See what I did there? I laughed hard at this one... these guys sometimes are so stupid... they will say mine for 10 pages and have so many misunderstandings instead of just explaining to these women that they are their mates lol. Larimar and Kim had quite the attraction going. I mean the book was smoking the whole time. Sizzling hawt!! ☄️☄️🔥🔥 and I just know I’m going to love Medjeds book. Lol him and his Fruity Looms. There was quite a bit of comedy in this book that just had me roaring with laughter. The end of the book was super funny. Poor Jasper and Jennifer lol. I wonder which brother will fall next? I can’t wait for the next book to drop. It’s only getting better! I love how in Gorri’s books that she promotes family and community in her stories. The shifters always live in a community or communal residence that promotes further bonds and growth. I love that. I wish more people lived like that and supported each other like this. So much could be fixed with our world if we lived closer to one another and had support networks like this. These may be romance books written for fun and pleasure but there’s a bigger picture with underlying tones to be seen and thought about here. No lying, no cheating, loyalty, love, passion, support, family, bonds... these stories have the foundation of what life should be. Mrs Gorri’s stories truly represents this each time she publishes a book. 5⭐️🌟 from me

Wyvern shifter Larimar Wessex is very bored especially as his brother is newly mated and his father is on the mend. He starts to wonder what he can do before his next assignment is allocated. Curvy Kimberley Scott has recently returned from an Archaeological dig in Giza and when priceless artefacts got missing she is the obvious person to blame. This was a very enjoyable story that had another or the Wessex brothers finding his mate. The story was very dramatic, with lots of drama and danger over the artefacts that were found during the archaeological dig in Egypt. I loved the connections back to the previous book in the series and the various characters in it. I loved the way that Kim was a strong and sassy woman who was determined to do things her way even though she had a few body confidence issues. An enjoyable story that definitely was addictive from start to finish. Contains some explicit sexual content.

Larimar Wessex, Jasper's brother was very happy for him having found the impossible, his mate. This was something unheard of for Wyverns, but he'd done it. Not him though, he would probably have to wait another generation if that to find his if at all. When he is called on by Jennifer to babysit an archeologist, he is not happy with the assignment at all, but she is a friend of his sister in law's. So when he opens the file and takes a look at the picture of his charge his Wyvern makes a very excited display of happiness. Could it be, you bet!

Kimberley Scott is very knee deep in her digs and has no time in her life to think of men, especially one that looks like a sex god, not her! But then he does something very unexpected for her. He worships her body from the top of her head, through out her chubby body and down to her toes. He probably just wants a one-night stand and she's ok with that, but now he's in her head and she can't get him out. OMG it's a marathon of non-stop sex and she really doesn't want it to stop.

A magical bad guy and a change that Larimar suspected, but takes Kim by total surprise. What a wild ride, get those towels (make that double) ready lady's!

Digging up the future
Are you ready for a whirlwind of danger, adventure, romance, and the dead? Then look no further. The author has it all in this book. Endearing characters that grow with each book she adds to the WPU series, a family that always has each other’s backs, friends who are there when someone calls, and fate who is not yet finished with the Wessex brothers. I love how the author really kept the intensity high throughout the story, and Kim’s inner dialogue that had me rolling on the floor laughing. The over protective alpha nature of Lar really enhanced my reading experience, especially when he released his secret allies, and the new type of bad guy made it even more interesting. Who knows what fate has in store for these brothers next, okay maybe we found a little hint of what’s to come at the end of this book, but I can’t wait to find out.

Recently returned from a dig in Giza Kimberley Scott is told the some of the most important exhibits she brought back have gone missing and as she filled in all the paper work she is the first suspect. While still talking to the investigators she is shot at so Agent Brock moves her to a safe house and calls for a special bodyguard for her. Wyvern shifter Larimar Wessex is sent to protect an archeologist who has been attack but when he sees her photo he knows she is his mate. He arrives on his motorbike and enters the house wearing black leathers and a helmet and the frighten Kim hits him on the hear with the frying pan denting his helmet.

This is the second book in the Wyvern Protection Unit. It was equally as good as the first one if not better. Gorri adds depth to the characters that gives you insight into the shifter’s family. They fight for each other, and they definitely have each other’s backs. Not only that, but there are sporadic parts in the book that will have you dying of laughter. The inner dialogue and even some scenes will have you shaking your head asking yourself why you didn’t see that coming. This book was definitely worth the read. It hints at what may be in store in the next book, and I can’t wait to see it all unfold.

A very entertaining story that kept me reading until they caught the bad guys! There is action, suspense, humor, mystery and steam. Kim is accused of stealing an artifact by her boss and she's in hiding with a Federal Paranormal Unit bodyguard. Larimer saw Kim's picture in the article after her find. These stories just get better and better. I love the characters. Kim is framed for a crime she did not do by her boss and is in hiding with a FPU bodyguard who just happens to be her mate. First impressions ha ha she clobbers him with a cast iron skillet thinking he is there to hurt her. We have action, steam and suspense.

This book is about Kimberley and Larimar romance, certainly kept me hooked the who done it theme. She gets accused of theft and tries to prove her innocence without being attacked but with c d gorri writing anything is possible. Larimar has more than protecting her on his mind. A fantastic read I thought and was entertaining throughout.

The h has been framed by her boss for a crime she didn't commit. The H has been hired to protect her.

Her bodyguard Lamaris is one of the sexiest man she has ever seen! The. dynamics are explosive. The story has a strong supernatural element as well as a paranormal theme.

Great 2nd installment

This 2nd story of the Wyvern Protectors was great. Really loved the chemistry between Larimar and Kimberly. It was hot, instant and unexplainable ....at least to Kim. Larimars powers were unique...talking to living and nonliving creatures. Then to throw in an evil iniquity tied into Kim made for a great read. Loved the appearance of the brothers and Medjed. Only disappointment is that I have to wait to see about the" baby" Wyvern. lol

Love me some dragon

I will tell you that you can never go wrong with a dragon. Beautiful and very protective creatures. I really want one too, especially with how hot they are.

Everything in this story is so exciting, and even though the relationship between the main characters was fast, the story still worked very well together. Always action around each corner, or flip of the page.

Excellent story and you will not be disappointed.

Great Job

Oh my God, this series is getting better and better with each brother. I love the way it didn't take all book to get these two mated. He saw her and bam, it was done. Did Kim get a dragon tattoo also? Loving this series. I think the boys dad is cool as hell. He really loves his sons and I can hardly wait for the grandkids to arrive. Keep up the great storyline. Only gave it five stars cause I couldn't give it more. Please read this series.

I loved everything about it - the characters, the plot, the emotion, the writing.
The author had a tremendous ability in telling the story that had me wanting this book to go on and on.
