Making catgirls can cost your life. It's worth the risk. I thought I was buying an arcade game. Instead, I got a machine that clones the catgirl of my dreams. But tech like this is a magnet for powerful enemies… And did I mention that the generals who control the whole country like to shoot first and ask questions later? Now that my catgirl Lana and I are fugitives, we’re one wrong move from getting caught with the cloning machine. Well, if I’m going to die, I’m going to do what I love. That means plenty of video games and plenty of time alone with Lana. Unless I decide that two catgirls are better than one. And maybe hunting the generals is better than being hunted…
A dystopian world with cat burglars. With an emphasis on cat.
Greg Holsten finds himself in a lot of trouble when he receives the wrong Cat Burglar arcade game by mistake. One that allows him to create clones of the monster girl characters in the game. The intended owner of the game tries to "rectify" the situation by having Greg and his newly created cat burglar Lana assassinated, sending them off on the adventure of their lives.
The story stands on its own without overemphasizing the cat in the girls or the sex, the dialogue is good and it's an interesting take on the future dystopia. There's lot of promise here.
I received a free copy of this book from the author and am voluntarily leaving a review.
