(see below for list of contents). Hundreds of Thousands of Cross-Reference
It isn't enough to simply offer the scriptures in electronic format, but to provide features that make them much more useful than a simple hardcopy. What sets our library apart from any other is that we have pains-takingly spent hundreds of hours specifically on the feature base to make your experience the most rewarding. Our philosophy is that if it’s going to be in electronic format, it ought to include and utilize all the features that and electronic format should provide. Unlike many other collections, we do just that.
One such feature is cross-reference linking. Many other competing scripture collections on Amazon don't have links where there ought to be. When studying in a hardcopy version of the scriptures and coming to footnote references, you must take the time to flip through pages to go to the footnote reference. Sometimes this even requires opening a separate book. One of the best features of this collection is the extensive cross-reference linking throughout the entire library. This collection is fully equipped with the complete Scripture footnotes, Topical Guide, Bible Dictionary, Index, Guide to the Scriptures, and more. Unlike other editions, as you study in this edition, you will see hundreds of thousands of links through out the Scriptures and other works. Simply select the links to follow to their respective locations whether it be a footnote to the Topical Guide or to another Scripture reference or whatever. Also, the scripture references that appear in the other books such as the Conference Addresses , manuals and others are linked back to the scriptures. ‘See also’ topics in the Topical Guide, Bible Dictionary, Index, Guide to the Scriptures, True to the Faith and other such reference works are linked in the books making it very easy to peruse the library. Many other competing collections do not include these features.

About the author

Joseph Smith Jr.

572 books288 followers
Joseph Smith, Jr. was the founder of the Latter Day Saint movement, also known as Mormonism, and an important religious and political figure during the 1830s and 1840s. In 1827, Smith began to gather a religious following after announcing that an angel had shown him a set of golden plates describing a visit of Jesus to the indigenous peoples of the Americas. In 1830, Smith published what he said was a translation of these plates as the Book of Mormon, and the same year he organized the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

For most of the 1830s, Smith lived in Kirtland, Ohio, which remained the headquarters of the church until Smith began encouraging members to gather the church to a Latter Day Saint settlement in Missouri. There, tensions between Mormons and non-Mormons resulted in the expelling of the Mormons. Smith and his people then settled in Nauvoo, Illinois where they began building a new temple aided by new converts from Europe. He was assassinated by a mob of non-Mormons at the age of 38.

Smith's followers consider him a prophet and have canonized some of his revelations as sacred texts on par with the Bible. His legacy as a leader of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has been recognized by millions of adherents.
