Good beginning to series as main characters were introduced. Comical at times as Sa'id can bring the humor in any situation. On to part 2

Phenomenal

Thank you for the deep, in-depth look at each character and how they ended up being apart of cell block D.
Prentiss....I do not feel sorry for. She got just what she deserved! She was such a self centered, ego maniacal brat. She deserved to be used and taken for all she was worth, just as she'd done her parents all her life. I was NOT sorry she went to jail.

Amanda got a raw deal. Jenkins was a true sellout and a cowardly a$$-ho!3. First as a black man, he did not support or seek to when understand the Black Lives Matter movement. Then he threw Amanda under the bus to try to hide what everyone already knew. I dislike him strongly.

Lisa would and should have gotten off because what her daughter and husband were doing in her home, with her money, in her face was despicable. Patricia's low down a$$ should be in jail for blowing through all of her money. I hated her fate. She didn't deserve it.

Chuck is going to get caught. He's too green and naive. I'm pumped for part 2!!!

This book is crazyyy.

From my perspective of Lisa is that she is a little nutty. Because if my daughter was with my husband and she acted the way she did towards me. Naw, first of all she wouldn't have even reached that level of disrespect to even talk crazy to me to even begin with so sleeping with my husband would have never happen in my house. Plus, I wouldn't even be taking care of my husband with his sorry behind. Just to keep him. No sir. More plus size woman now of days have more self-esteem than a small woman. Home girl needed to get her mind right. Her momma wasn't about 2 cents. Probably not even that much. Her story just stuck to me. But on to pt2 of the maddness.

OMG...

This book pissed me off so bad!!! This is how I know it's a really good read. Books that evoke such strong emotions have to be good... lol. Mr. Salaam really got me with this one. I won't give any spoilers, so definitely check it out for yourself. I promise you won't be disappointed... except maybe by the fact that it seemed to end so quickly, and left me hanging... Mr. Sa'id Salaam, I need part 2 NEEOOOWWWWWW!!!!!

VERY, VERY, INTERESTING !!

I will say this book had caught me from the first chapter. I like how the Author, told each characters back story. Now I'm looking forward to seeing what happens, while the woman is dealing with life on D-block. All the characters back ground was believable and the Author was very well educated on prison life and lingo. I'm definitely looking forward to reading part two. I rate this book 5 stars. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The Ladies of D-Block

Good read as always. These stories of the women who go to prisons is heartbreaking. Some will say they deserve it but you just never know how far you can be pushed. Interesting story and the addition of what’s happening in our world today. Can’t wait to read next one.

Good book to read

I really enjoyed reading this book, it was very entertain, but most if not all of the women in my opinion were wrongly convicted. The racist cop pissed me off but i had to stop and think this is the world we live in for real. Well i`m about to dive in book 2 and I know I won`t be disappointed.

He did it again

I love everything Sa’id Salaam puts out, and this is going to be a great one. These ladies are going to cause mayhem for sure as they attempt to survive D-Block. The circumstances these women found themselves in happens a lot because of the men they entangle themselves with. I can’t wait for the next installment.

Them Ladies

Good Read. The stories were told from different points of views. No one is immune from the law. That Rich Girl... I want her ungrateful a$$ to suffer.

Left hanging

Multiple disjointed stories. The last, with the pastor’s wife, was quite interesting but this author failed to finish it. What a disappointment!
