Besides books in the Biplob series, which are aimed at children in the 3 to 9 age brackets, he has also authored Purvyam, a three-part fantasy fiction novel.
Other published works include 'Chronicles of a Wanderer', which is a dramatised biography Adesh Dhamija who set out to travel the world on his Jawa motorcycle on a budget of 300USD, in 1979.
An extensive traveller himself, Abhishek has shared his experiences of travelling across India by road on his popular blog, www.biplobworld.com

The Adventures of Biplob the Bumbleebee Vol.2
This is a children's illustrated book.
I read the Vol .1 about one year ago and it was fantastic ! Very happy to let you guys know the second and the third part is also here now .
What is special about this book ?
Here is a charming little bumblebee named Biplop who in his witty ways in his day to day life help his farmer and flower buddies in the farm. Filled with big and vibrant eye catching animated illustrations this book again through its short tales teach kids the importance of protecting our environment and becoming eco friendly by various means.
Biplob 's character portrays a happy , jolly and helpful friend who is always ready to help his buddies in needs and positive to figure out something in crisis.
There are three short stories.
▪️Power of the Sun : About the conversion of solar energy into electrical energy to pump water for irrigation.
▪️Farm to Plate : Main purpose behind agriculture for food production .
▪️Reap as you sow : To be responsible about your actions towards public cleanliness and stop public littering.
Backed by science along with lucid language and short interesting tales this will make the learning time for children very enjoyable and comprehensive. Makes for great gifts for your little loved ones !

After reading Volume 1, I was so excited to read the volume 2 of this book "The Adventures Of Biplob The Bumblebee" by author Abhishek Talwar.
Knowledge is Power and that's what exactly Biplob proves that in the story by helping out all the flowers, plants and farmer- Balram to have enough water by using the Power of the Sun! Indeed a brilliant solution to make the best use of the solar energy.
Farm to Plate topic is very interesting one that tell us how Sunflower Oil is made, Pizza which is everyone's favourite and what all is required for it.
Cleanliness is indeed very important and Biplob said "You reap as you sow!" we get important message from this book that every individual should take care of the cleanliness around them.
Make sure you grab a copy and find out yourself how the Power of the Sun helped the thirsty plants or flowers and the importance of cleanliness around you. Lots of good things to learn from this incredible story and follow in our daily life to make earth a much more better place to live.

My kids were excited to read Vol. 2 & 3 of The Adventures of Biplob the Bumblebee.
Biplob has become like a dear friend. My 3 yr old daughter definitely thinks he is her friend.We read Vol 2 multiple times. We love this new volume too.

Biplob teaches how nature is beautiful, How to protect nature and mother earth. All this in a cute, fun + learning way.
The illustrations are cheerful and engaging. The language is simple and easy for kids to understand.
The theory and story is proportionately mixed.
Author Abhishek has written the book keeping kids in mind. Illustrator Sonal has given the story life with the illustrations. I loved the cheerful face of Biplob and the grumpy Ms. Violet :D
