Nice idea this, like training wheels for the knitwear designer. It fell flat for me, as I'm more into acrobatic unicycling by now, but I know heaps of adventurous beginners who'd really appreciate this book.

This paperback helped me to learn to knit by not only teaching the stiches, but also included how to journal a project and keep track of my personal observations of how to improve a pattern for my own use. Very useful information!
