Welcome to Sara’s universe.... Having recently graduated from college, Sara Jane Stuart isn’t asking for much—only to have her anguished mother finally return from the institution, her nonchalant brother to visit more often, her businessman father to stop traveling so much, and her beloved sister, Kelly, to complete her own stint at rehab. On the surface, Sara already seems to have it all. She’s the heiress to a billion-dollar fortune and the owner of a restaurant through which she hopes to make her mark in the world. She also has a body she’s sculpted to perfection and a face so mesmerizing that it creates an immediate attraction in others that Kelly has termed ‘The Sara Effect.’ What she needs more than anything, however, is a relationship to act as a distraction until Kelly returns. Because if she comes back too soon, it’ll rekindle a love story that never should have occurred in the first place—one that puts a twist on an otherwise ageless tale of romance that runs the gamut from erotic to intense. Step into the Sara-Verse and prepare yourself for... The Sara Effect
The Stuart family are not like everyone else. And that's a good thing because the story that unspools from page one will keep you turning pages!
Sara Stuart is the central character. Recently finished with college, Sara is looking to pave her own way in a family that wants for nothing. If she wants it, her father can arrange it. If Sara doesn't want it, well Sara's father can try his hardest to make happen anyway. She's a young woman looking for direction and love, both of those being very hard for her to come to grips with.
Sara's world is one that's woven together by family strife. Years ago her mother was institutionalized and that marked the beginning of the family spinning apart. This event made Sara try to hold her family close to the chest, but fate had other plans. If her mother is Sara's heart, her sister Kelly is her soul. When both are cast from her, Sara is sent even farther adrift.
Sara's big problem is that she wants to fix things for everyone. She focuses on other people and that often blinds her to the truth of who the people around her are. And if you can't help yourself, how can you expect to "fix" someone else?
If you are looking for relationship drama, The Sara Effect will be a good fit for you. Mr. RIchardson has kicked off a wild web with this one. Hold on tight.
I loved this book! Well thought out plot and great characters that really come to life. Mr. Richardson keeps the reader engaged with these 20 something year olds. They are relatable people that come to life and what I loved most about this book is that it's not what you expect it to be (not to give too much away). The Stuarts are an interesting family with real, relatable people and problems. I would highly recommend this book as it's entertaining and light while also deep in what it has to say to the world. There's a strong message in this book which I found extremely interesting. You won't be disappointed!
