'This is a perfect short, cozy mystery.'
'It makes you wonder if English country villages are safe places to live. But I certainly would given half a chance.'
'Frances Evesham has invented an array of lively village personalities to get in Libby's way from her Goth teenage lodger to the pompous chair of the women's group or the rude but kindly garage proprietor.'
'With every book, I grow more fond of Libby and Exham.'
'If you like Miss Marple this amateur sleuth will enthral you.'
Low mark is not the quality of the book but because of the misleading title. I bought a book called “Murder at the Castle”, and found I’d got one that should have been titled “Find the Dog”.
This was a good book. I loved the characters and the story. I was shocked that it was the doctor and that he killed his oldest and dearest friend. He was so afraid to have his secret reviled. There were a few side storied that I would like to see them follow thru with, the dog smuggling group, the Constible who was a sexist pig and the wedding.
