I was blown away by "Encounter." It's a thrilling, expertly plotted novel that takes readers deep into the icy heart of geopolitical conflict and covert warfare. The story starts strong with a mysterious Arctic signal and builds into a gripping adventure involving abduction, a secret Russian base, and a weapon that could change the world order. Frank Ryder and his team are smart, tough, and easy to root for. I especially appreciated how the novel blended real-world military intelligence with speculative elements, making the danger feel all too real. This is a story that keeps you thinking long after you’ve turned the last page. Highly recommended for fans of high-concept espionage and action-packed storytelling!

"Encounter" is everything I want in a modern thriller: sharp writing, intense action scenes, a compelling hero, and a mystery that unfolds layer by layer. Frank Ryder is the kind of protagonist that stays with you an ex-SAS operative with both heart and grit. The plot moves quickly, but never at the expense of detail. I was completely immersed in the mission, especially the discovery of the subterranean base and the world-shifting technology it hides. The chase across the mountains was exhilarating and the suspense never let up. Woodhams keeps you guessing until the very end. Absolutely fantastic storytelling!”

Five Stars

Another great read. Very different from the previous books and no less interesting. Lots of unpredictable twists and turns. Action galore, some good wins and some sad losses. A well deserved 5 stars and I look forward to the next book ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
