Of course, I hired her. That sinfully delicious body, and those innocent eyes. Talk about standing at attention, every nerve in my body was aware of her. It may have been a bit over the top, what happened in my office while supposedly doing her new hire paperwork. But I couldn’t resist the pull. She possessed me as much as I possessed that tight body of hers. I need more of that, at least a little more, enough to get her out of my system.
I will never let a woman get to me, get inside my head, ever again. Besides, being a Road Warrior, I have all the women I want, I will never again let feelings for a woman dictate my actions. Not going there, no matter how hot she is or how my body aches for her.

Rory and Snake were an unusual couple. I loved Rory's spirit and how she stuck to her principles. Snake was a bit of a jerk to start but he figured out how to show his feelings to Rory. There were some very steamy scenes and some questionable decisions, but the story was very good.

I loved this book more than the previous book in the series. This author has really developed and honed her writing skills since her debut book. Rory has had a rough childhood, but she is working hard at school and her new job to turn her life around. She has a crush on Snake but he has a steadfast rule that he doesn’t do relationships. What started as a hook up just scratch an itch develops into more. Is it smart to sleep with your boss? When Rory’s past comes back to haunt her present will Snake be there for her?

DNF40% skimmed the rest
Decent plot...a bit unbelievable but it’s an MC and she’s a damsel in distress.
BTW...Contractions are a thing. And commas. Please use them. It made the book nearly unreadable. I never found a reading rhythm because of it and eventually DNF’d due to the lack of readability.
Not safe, yet not nearly enough angst :/
Too easily overcome when it happened.

It's been amazing to have the chance to meet new authors. Authors that wrote the genres that I adore. And this lady is one of them.
It only took one book for me to become addicted and left me wanting more.
Raven Featherwood is the author in question and her words will make you a fan. Just trust me. Her writing is raw and wild, dangerous, intense, and with some hot stuff into the mix...

This book explores the lives of Snake and Aurora.
Snake is one of the brothers. He is loyal and will do everything to protect them. His best friend and coworker Cat was abducted but is finally back home but just in presence because her mind is several miles away.
They work together at Rage, their MC bar, but he's alone now. And what does she needs?
Aurora had her childhood marked by tragedy. Not only had she lost her momma but when time passed she lost so much more. Years had passed and now she needs to attend the university and graduate...
Perfect. This book was perfect in every way.
Amazing plot, well written, super engaging, and intense. Each chapter was even more engaging than the latest and I couldn't put it down. Once I started to read it, so many questions surface, and the need to know more overcome my ability to stop.
Perfect characters, and you'll see the bond they share.
One of the lessons that you can't take from this book is that love works in mysterious ways. You might think that you can't find your happiness or your way but you must look inside and see the light.
This book presented us with love, loyalty, family bonds, desire as well as crime, drama, punishment, and madness.
One minute I was melting with the hot scenes and the next I was melting with rage... Jeez... This author is trying to kill me...

This is the 2nd book in this amazing series and is Snake and Rory’s story. Snake desperately needs a new bartender for the bar as Cat is still out of action, and when Rory applies for the position, their attraction is instant and mutual. While these two battles to keep their hands off each other, Rory has a past which is snared up with the Road Warriors. When the truth comes out will this be the end of them? This is a well written story which is raw, gritty, and emotional. This story may contain triggers for some readers so be just be aware. I was hooked and intrigued throughout and look forward to reading more from this author whose work I recommend for all MC lovers.

When Rory goes up to the bar at Rage and asks the bartender if they were hiring, she ends up getting hired on the spot. Rory is a bit different then the average twenty-three year old, she hasn't dated at all. She has her reasons but she is still a bit innocent in all things dating, but what she does know is that Snake is hot and there is some definite chemistry between the two. They both agree to a one night only thing to work the chemistry out of their system but what happens when one night is not enough? Snake is ok trying for a second night, but after that he isn't going to let Rory get to him, he doesn't have time for something serious, more to the point he doesn't want something serious. What happens when he realizes too late that Rory does matter? Will he miss the chance at making her his?
Alright, lets get to the good, the bad, and the ugly. First off this is better than book one; the author toned down on the details a bit. The story itself was really good, I enjoyed it quite a bit; I do think this followed along the same lines as book one, a few differences but when you chop it down and just state what happened... it's the same. Once again the editing was lacking, do what other authors do, find a group of people willing to read and give you what they find; I'm not talking missing commas, I'm talking about Trinity's mom being Jennifer for the first half of the story and then the second half she is Charlotte... there were fifteen families targeted, two families died that left twelve families? (It was thirteen not twelve), and pick one first person, second, third you can't have all three. This is just a few of the things I noticed, and those things will bother me until I am obsessing over it while trying to read. Last thing, do your research, don't talk about things like the military unless you have the facts straight, base is for the Air Force, post is for the Army, and after a certain time, normally twelve years you don't reup anymore as you are now indef. I don't want anyone thinking I'm picking on the author, I'm not. I see great promise in this author and with work she will probably put out some amazing work. I give this 3.5 stars.

Rory has had a rough childhood. At 16 she was raped by 3 guys at a football game. The trauma was to much to handle and decides to take her own life. Because of the she gets therapy and begins to put her life back together. When she moves back with her family to Las Vegas, she begins working at Rage, a strip club/ bar that is owned by the Road Warriors MC. There she meets Snake. Snake is the co-owner of Rage and a member of the Road Warriors. She is also hot as hell. Rory feels the attraction and begins a relationship with Snake. A relationship full of up and downs. She get locked up by her father and kidnapped by the same men that raped her in high school.
Snake was a police officer in another life. A life were he was married to his high school sweetheart. On one horrific day his work changed. When Rory comes into the bar he gets a second chance at love. A chance to start over but he is scared to loss Rory like he did his wife. After everything they go through he realized that she is his soul mate, his world.
This book had me all over the place. I did really connect with the characters. He books moved so quick. Not my first choice in MC romance stories but definitely had potential. I was more interested in the story between Pipes and Trinity.

Reviews are never easy to write but especially when you really wanted to love a book but it just never happened like you hoped.
Rory and Snake’s story has so much potential. It has the premise and foundation of a great book.
There were some missing connections within the story itself . It didn’t flow well in my opinion. It felt disjointed at some points. When that happens for me it’s hard to keep my concentration on the story. I get lost in the mechanics of what I think could have been added or adjusted to reel me in.
I may be mistaken but I think this is the 2nd story from this author. If that is the case then she is learning and growing her talent. As she moves along in her writing journey and learns I can see her going back and re-reading this book and finding opportunities for improvement.
Don’t cut this author short though based on my review. Give her a shot. You may feel differently and fall in love. I for myself will continue to keep an eye on her in the future and give her a try because I think with some work she could have some amazing stories.

This is the second book in the Road Warriors MC series. They can be read as standalone books. I haven’t read the first one and wasn’t confused at all. Snake runs the club’s bar on the strip. All he needed was some help at the bar but he got a whole lot more. Rory has recently moved to Las Vegas with her father and step-mother. She is ready to go to college and move out on her own. She goes to the bar with her friend and see’s her chance to get a job there. She and Snake have an instant connection. They have a one-night stand and agree to no more after that but Snake didn’t get enough. There are some struggles in the begging. Rory is inexperienced with men. Snake doesn’t want to taint her and fights his feelings for her for a bit. When he finally gives in it is amazing for them. Then they have to deal with Rory’s father and a rival club. For most of the book it feels like they just can’t get a break. Rory more than Snake. I love this book so much. I have put the first book on my TBR list. Great job Raven. I look forward to reading more of your books in the future.

Rory has gone through the fire in her past, and she really thought that she was building a new life when she got a job at Snake's bar. She wants him instantly, and the intense chemistry they have isn't being denied for even a minute, so they end up hooking up at the jump in his office as she's filling out her paperwork. Snake is adamant on not letting any woman get close to him again, so he's letting her get into his head for anything. Of course, that chemistry is the type that takes over the body until whatever your head says, your body is taking over & it's actually seeping through my kindle to boot. And if this push & pull isn't crazy enough, Rory's past has come up like a punch to the face, so things really get complicated, and the twists are coming in hot. Snake's Rage by Raven Featherwood is book Two in the Road Warriors MC series. This is the story of Aurora 'Rory' and Snake. I have read the previous book which did add to my enjoyment of this one, but I do feel you could make it a standalone book if you wish to do so. Rory has not had a easy or peaceful life from the start. Now she is working for a better life with school and now with this new job to achieve her goals. But what she wasn't expecting is to be attracted to Snake. Snake is a brother in the MC who doesn't deal with feelings nor letting a women into his heart. But there is something about Rory besides the instant desire he has for her. Neither can find their feels of desire towards each other but can they find a happy ending for these two lost soles? Enjoyed their story and this author's writing.

Can these two help each other heal from their traumatic past? Will their love be enough? I am telling you there were a few times I had to take a break because my heart hurt. The author does a wonderful job with writing emotions that you just can't help but feel with the characters. I am looking forward to seeing what the author has in store for others in the MC.

Wow, what a great book. I couldn't put it down. This book follows on from Forever my own, and highly recommended be read first.
I loved Snake and Rory together, they may of started off to scratch an itch and to get over her past. But they had such chemistry from beginning. Snake is attentive but also domineering.

Oh lord, this book had me invested from the get go. Both of these characters have gone through so much in their lives that has changed them. Neither looking for anything end up with a whole heap of something. The ups and downs, the twists and turns and so much more will have you hooked. I couldn't put this book down.

Rory was dealt a horrible experience when she was young. When she meets Snake, she thinks she has won a jackpot. Snake shouldn’t want her but he does. Her past comes back in the flesh and she leans on Snake for comfort and protection. Great read. Excellent writing.

It's time to forget the past and move on. Her dad may not think she is ready but she is. To prove it her night turned into a test for a bar tending job. She got it and maybe the hot boss too. Life was getting good.
Snake didn't want more than a little time with the irresistible woman. He couldn't treat her like a club girl but he didn't want more than a taste--at least until the taste wasn't enough.
These two who are so right for each other have so many things against them, not the least a past nightmare that turns out to be a present horror.
Great characters wonderful to meet for the first time if you didn't meet them in the first book of the series. A club that is a one percent yet takes care of its own especially women and children. There is steam galore, the baddest of the bad, and the best of the good. Romance, friendship, loyalty, and traitors make this a book you won't want to put down. Rory was dealt a horrible experience when she was young. When she meets Snake, she thinks she has won a jackpot. Snake shouldn’t want her but he does. Her past comes back in the flesh and she leans on Snake for comfort and protection. Great read. Excellent writing.

This book continues from where the first book left off. Snake sees Rory but he tells her it's just a one time thing and he fights his desire for more. When outside forces loom on Rory again, Snake and the MC try to protect her but when one man won't take no for an answer danger may kill any kind of a future Snake and Rory may have had. I loved this story and seeing Rory's inner strength became as the story progressed. I can't wait for more from this author and series.
