Interesting and informative. A lot of great facts gathered and put forth succinctly and in easy-to-absorb manner.

Simple Easy to Follow Guide

This book covers the basics of a healthy lifestyle through fitness and nutrition. There are tons of great food ideas, no strict diets, just a guide to basic nutrition. The exercises recommended come with pictures and instructions at varying degrees of difficulty. The advice is easy to follow and implement.

Interesting read. Like the whole idea of self-help and getting fit. Really enjoyed that the author concentrated on exercises that anyone could do. Nothing was too strenuous. The idea of the book was to give you a guide to improving your fitness and hopefully inspiring the reader to chose more healthy choices in their life. This is a book for those that have little to no knowledge about exercise. The choices and exercises were not surprising or groundbreaking. Hard to offer a new idea in getting fit. Surprisingly, I did not find the cliched ideas of toning versus bulking. The audience it seems understands they have to move slowly to insure they do not overdo the exercise. I would have expected a doctor notification at the beginning and throughout the exercise portion of the book. I think that is an essential element that cannot be overstated with each and every exercise mentioned. The same is true of the simple meals offered. Good entry book into the world of fitness and healthy meals. If there was one thing that rubbed me the wrong way it was the idea that following the book would help you lose weight and gain the body you want. I know it is not a true promise but there are just so many factors that cause either situation to happen. Again, good entry book to fitness.
