This book looks at not only the indicidual, but at how the couple dynamic can be affected by the anxiety of one of the members. I liked that the book opened by examing different anxiety disorders. I found the treatment of them to be thorough and accurate. I liked that the author looked at the different anxiety can manifest itself (self-doubt, passive aggressive) and how that has a profound impact on the relationship. The author then looks at what you can do to address this and even what to do if the relationship ends up not working out. I appreciated the number of exercises the author gives the reader.
