“This is who I am. I am a killer.”

It's all I want people to know.

I don't want them to know my name. I don't want them to know my backstory. I don't want them to see me as anything more than a ruthless assassin.

Because it's the only thing I'm good at, and it's the only thing I see myself as.

But then she comes into my life.

She recognizes me as something more than a killer, even if I don't.

She believes there's good in me. She believes there's love in me. She believes there's more to me than meets the eye.

I don't believe her.

But she's changing my mind.

We'll see if it lasts. It never has.

Not before her, at least.

Some questions are answered in this chapter of the Black Reaper MC series. Butch is the enforcer and now has a better idea of what he needs to do for his MC. Still not sure who to trust, but he takes a chance on one of the members and moves forward with his conclusions. He has no illusions of what type of man he is but sometimes hopes for a glimmer of something else, something more. Thea seems to be the one that provides that glimmer. They are two tortured souls who seem to have found an uneasy alliance. All hell breaks loose in the end and that's where you need to read the next chapter. The author does a good job of keeping readers hooked. I'm enjoying this series.

I received this advanced readers copy in exchange for an honest review.

This series just keeps getting better and better with each new character.
Butch and Thea, complete each other in a way that most people don’t. When they are apart its like they are just drifting in the wind, but together they fit like puzzle pieces.
Butch is the hulking, quiet, deadly killer. He will do anything for the club, but show them his softer side. Thea brings that out in him.
Thea, is a rock bottom girl, who was betrayed by her ex, and had to turn to the club and become a club girl. When she sees Butch, its instant attraction. He helps her and protects her from danger.
Together, they help find the traitor and Butch takes him out. They work in a way that its hard to describe.

I must say I like this book a lot more.

I did feel however, at first Butch and Thea's love story was a bit bland. I didn't feel any connection between them. I felt as if Thea only wanted anyone didn't matter who so she didn't feel lonely.

But I will say I preferred their story because it wasn't the insta love like previous stories. It had more of a realistic pace of a relationship.

What i enjoyed the most was the outside of the love story. We learned who the rat was , which ironically who I was suspected all along. We have a civil war going on. And you can sincerely feel the tension in this book. It was well written in that sense.

Can't wait to see how things unfold now.

I fell in love all over again with the Black Reapers. Butch is filled with grit, compassion and love. The story line was interesting, exciting, fast-paced and dark. Butch and Thea are both broken characters that need the other to complete themselves. Watching the relationship evolve between these two is heartwarming and emotional.

Butch: An MC Romance (Black Reapers MC Book 4) by Trent Jordan. Butch became my favorite character in the Black Reaper MC Series. He is Dangerously the strongest and most lovable Club Member... Book four gave me a better understanding of the threat they face and the strength Butch brings to the club... I would recommend this series it’s Amazing

I am absolutely loving the Black Reapers. Although, I have to say that Butch is my favorite read so far. As in real life, we are sometimes our own worst enemy/nightmare. We internalize our own shortcomings until we believe the worst of ourselves. Thea and Butch compliment each other in ways they didn't see coming. They were a slow burn to a fiery passion.

Butch is a mountain of a man. He is true to his club and will fight against any threat. There’s a lot of threats going on. Violence, killing, shooting, are some of the things that are going on. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book and gave my honest opinion.

Wow! I started off not liking this book. It was so much darker than previous ones in the series. Finally I figured out that our dear author is just really good at getting the reader to feel what the characters are going through. Well, done!

I liked this book. I felt so bad for Thea, she just wanted someone to see her for herself and establish a connection. And Butch was gruff and so dark, I liked it. They worked, in a weird way
