Into Words: A Journey with Words

Into Words, is a poetry book that includes more than fifty poems. It is a collection of my thoughts that are expressed in the form of poetry on various themes like, - Seasons - Love - Fantasies - Emotions - Hope I like how words can sometimes have a deeply insightful yet a sudden impact upon our lives. I believe the world can be a better place if more of us are in tune with our artistic selves. I invite you into my world of thoughts and fantasies. Hope that you stay awhile with me on this journey with words. Lots of love and gratitude! A bird fluttered around, Singing a mysterious song. No usual chirping or sounds of calling out. It sang a deep, quaint song, It was brief but melodious. Eerie, sinless and sensuous. The mellow bold tune Slowly began to fade. The bird passed into oblivion, Only the song hauntingly remained.

Hi, I'm Nuraine Sadaf, writing has always been a childhood passion of mine. However, I never really thought that it could turn into a career. Fast forward a couple of years, when I look back now, all I seem to have done professionally is write. I worked for a slew of E-commerce companies during the day and on my own stories and poetry in the night. Since the last five years, my blog has over a hundred published poems and I have compiled them into my first poetry book called Into Words.

As I look outside my window, I see the well-manicured lawns of a quiet Pennsylvanian suburb but I often dream of my childhood home back in India. I cannot escape the essence of romanticism, which is often reflected in my writing. Other themes I deal with include the beauty of nature or the highs and lows of emotions, and I also attempt to capture memorable events via my writing. Over the last few years, there has also been a subtle drip of diasporic feelings. I welcome you to join me on my continuing journey with words.
