I’m only giving this 4 stars because it is a bit outdated now (published in 2004). Some really great strategies for teaching and making learning engaging! A super easy and informative read!
I had high hopes for this- maybe too high! I love the idea of these E-moments but in theory only. I had a really hard time trying to implement most of them. I do think it might be because I teach English and many of these moments seem designed more for math, science and in some instances social sciences.
There are 30 E-moments total. They are designed to reach all levels of Blooms taxonomy (i personally think they are a level lower than they are listed) and to reach all students through multiple intelligences. Which ones will I use and how?

Karaoke and mother goose because I see the value in making rhymes to remember information. I know a lot of that is rote learning, and a little elementary, but so many of my students struggle with remembering what goes in a paragraph that they can't even begin to write their paragraphs!
