Great book that talks about an important subject.

Kim writes about something I think challenges a lot of my views of brotherly friendship, but also reminds me of things I have forgotten to do that would really be beneficial to do in a friendship.

I love the fact that after each chapter, there are questions to reflect on and action steps to take, which helps to make everything he writes more applicable, which is great!
In short and many chapters, Kim has brought a lot of principles and topics of friendships between bros to light, and I think it's an important book to read for many.

Bold, Authentic and Essential

It’s sad to know that a book about becoming a real bro is ever in need to be written in this century. The modern society has made rules about how to be a certain gender and it certainly does nothing but limiting one to connect with others. The author writes “..many people out there have wrongly labelled human qualities as exclusively feminine qualities”.

As a counsellor working for mental health care, I have recommended and would definitely recommend this book to a friend, a brother, a colleague, a client or to anyone from all ages and all genders. I applaud the author to write this book as an easy read, heart-warming and more importantly relatable. If you like this book, I would recommend reading other books that the author has read such as “Breaking the Male Code” and “When Boys Become Boys”.

Lastly, my fav line from this book: “A bro is not just a wingman, a casual hang-out, or a drinking buddy”. Read this book and let’s be a REAL bro for once!

This is an amazing book for men on how to build strong friendships with each other. It is packed with so much wisdom and helpful advices. Each chapter provides you with helpful questions for you to reflect upon. It also challenges you in a practical way with suggested actions that will help you connect with your friends in a deeper way. This book was very helpful to me and I highly recommend it to anyone who is longing for authentic and meaningful friendships.

What can I say about this book? It has helped me in my personal life with how I can be a better friend/ brother to those who are close to me. Kim breaks the mold of what society thinks men are supposed to be. I encourage any man that is struggling in their relationships or those who think they are doing ok to read this book. It will change your perspective on your thoughts of what friendship is.

Det den manglet i empiri og tunge argumentasjonsrekker, tok den igjen med det faktum at den skapte bevissthet hos leseren om et ofte oversett og neglisjert tema.

The Real Bro Code lays a good foundation to build strong, healthy friendships.

The chapters are bite-sized and I easily read them by the middle of my morning coffee or before my bus arrived at my destination. There are always thought-provoking questions to consider as well. These aren’t just ideas to read and think, “well that’s kinda cool”, but they’re tools that we can apply to our friendships and get results.

Five stars. I will be recommending this/gifting this to some of my bros.
