This book is great, the characters are so dynamic and I was lost to the pack immediately. A.J builds great suspense mixed with holy hotness and steaminess that leaves you panting for more. I thoroughly enjoyed getting my teeth into this and I urge everyone to as well.

Oh wow! That was a really good start for a series 🔥🔥. I really enjoyed this story since it has some of my all time favorite creatures...wolf shifters! 🐺
This book tells the story of the Inferno pack, and its very interesting since we read the pov of quite different characters.
It is a reverse harem story so that means multiple mates and sexier private sessions 😈. The main characters are Ember and her mate Hunter and then Phoenix and her mates Ryder and Elliott. All these characters will find themselves engaged in various events that will test their abilities, their connection and their strength. People will get injured, people will be in danger and it is them that they have to find out how to save each other.
This is a sexy story with a healthy amount of action and I found myself reading it really fast. I am definitely off to the second book of the series 💜

Remember the good all days like 10 years ago when everyone was reading off of Wattpad and you would have to read through like 50 stories to get to one that was actually worthy of finishing?
It’s like that. A train wreck. A silly wolf shifter story that’s great if it’s someone’s first book written. But still silly.
I don’t even know how to review this one. It’s fast paced. Easy to read. I finished book one, but I will not be continuing the series to figure out what’s going on with the men.

Hot and engaging, the story pulls you in and you get the viewpoints of both sisters. Ends on a cliffhanger that makes you want to grab the next book. Looking for a shifter romance, then check out this story.

I absolutely adore Ember and Phoenix they are twins but honestly couldn’t be more different except when it comes to protecting their family and each other and then they are ruthless. Phoenix watches as Ember goes through her mating ceremony to her fated mate and while she is happy for her she can’t help but feel like she may never have that. Phoenix on the outside of strong, independent, feisty and beautiful but she is a handful and let’s it be know that no one rules her. Then she meet this black Wolf and there’s instant spark but she has no idea what that feeling is. The chemistry is off the charts. This story had me hooked from page one and kept me in my toes the entire read honestly things that went down I didn’t see coming and had me gasping. Shook completely shook. Just when you think you are starting figure things out and u think you see a light at the end and f the tunnel bam you are hit with that cliffhanger like WTF nooooooo. Fantastic read loved all the characters loved the story and can’t wait to head onto book 2

Fantastic series
What a great start to the series. A fantastic read that will keep you enthralled in the story. The characters are very well written that you willl instantly love Ember and Phoenix and their sisterly connection. The story takes you on a emotional journey that will have you laughing or wanting to smack the shit out of certain characters. Phoenix is so sassy and badass and in the first book we get to meet her two mates whilst she deals with the hunters and their chemical weapons. Can’t wait to see where the author takes the story next and how many mates Phoenix will eventually end up with. Hopefully book 2 will be out soon

This book had me all over the place. You have Ember and Phoenix who are twin female alphas. Let me say they are savage when they need to be. So we bounce from Ember and Phoenix story but its main focus is on Phoenix. There is action, betrayal and steamy sex. However, the story line is amazing and I could not put the book down because I needed to know what was going to unfold. It definitely kept me guessing as to what will happen. As you read you will see pieces of the story unfold but the ending shocked me. I am going to go nuts now cause I need to know what in the heck is going to happen. I hope the wait is not long.

Really good story of twins and the mates they take. There’s lots of action, plenty of steam and loads of drama and suspense. The world building is very good and the characters are enticing. This is obviously the first book as not all mates have been found yet and the ending is a huge cliffhanger. I’ll be eagerly awaiting the next installment.

Ember and Phoenix are two kickass Alphas who have some seriously sexy and possessive men. This book is fast burn and fast paced. There are tons of obstacles shoved into this book and there are moments where you feel how the characters feel. Multiple POV's help get a rounded feel of the characters. Overall a good start to the series.

I loved this book! Being to watch two stories unfold at the same time was awesome. I honestly am so glad to have read this book and given it a chance. I loved the twists and turns and the emotions these invoked. I cannot wait to read more books from this author and hope that many of them have the same effect this one did on me.

Sweet Luna of hell this book was absolutely amazing. This book was so good. I loved the characters . I think Ember has another mate she doesn’t know it yet tho . Oh my god what an amazing first book this is! AJ should be super proud!
Ember has know her mate for the past 4 years and is finally having her mating ceremony done. Where as her twin Phoenix is a free spirit enjoying her none mates life!

AJ Blackburn gives no mercy!
I've got to say AJ Blackburn is a minx! That ending! Argh! Good thing I've got book 2 ready to go!
I love the multi character POV. I love getting into characters heads and I think it helps the story and plot along nicely.
Ember and Phoenix are 2 excellent FMC and I love how different both girls are.
The males are on fire! Hot! I love the Alpha male wolf shifters to bits!
I can't wait to see what happens in book 2 because this books ends on a cliffhanger.
Its a well developed plot with action helping drive the story along beautifully.

This was such an amazing read! I am so glad that I found such an amazing new writer!!! Phoenix is a kick-ass Alpha's daughter who's sassy, goes after what she wants, and is always causing trouble with her twin sister. Ember is just like her sister, put the two together, Lord help you!! These twins can be savage! Ember has found her soulmate Hunter and Ember is his world. Phoenix does not believe she has a mate but finds out that she does and more than one. In this book, we meet Ryder and Elliott. The author weaves a story from multiple POV, but does so smoothly. The panty-melting steamy sex, the unexpected twists, and turns, will leave you on a roller coaster of emotion! You will not put this book down!!! Looking forward to book 2!!!

This book takes the heat and turns it up. I love the make characters just as much as the two girls. They are the epitome of alpha male shifter with their brooding possessiveness and sex appeal.
The story features a MF relationship and a MFM relationship told from mostly the sisters POV, there are some chapters told from the guys. Med-High heat and ends on a cliffhanger.

Wow just wow (contains spoilers)
I just read this book in one go (like 6 hours give or take).
This has to be one of the best books I have read in the last 6 months.
I love how we see both sisters fight to each other. But also the bond between Hunter and Phoenix.
But ofcours you have to love the story about a girl that doesn't feel like she has a mate that she would end up with more than one.
I love how Ryder cared for her at the beginning get food, provide for her.
And then Elliot who is so sweet to her but closed of to the rest.
Hate the cliffhanger ofcours. I honestly can't wait to read the rest. I was litterly on the edge of my seat for this book.

4.5 Intriguing, Captivating, Paranormal Stars!!!
I was given this book in turn for an honest review.
I really enjoyed this paranormal romance story; I was enthralled from start to finish, I struggled to put this book down! I felt this paranormal romance had an edge to it that others I have read did not. A.J. Blackburn brings this story to life with her style of writing and I felt like I wanted to be a part of Phoenix’s world, to see it with my own eyes.
I loved that the shifters in this world had soulmates, that it was undeniable how connected they were once they met. I loved that for Phoenix her soulmate discovery was a remarkable and surprising one and it felt right. It suited her character, it showed the purpose she has in life, was much more than she had ever envisioned. This is not your typical paranormal romance story.
This story has plenty of action, suspense and not to mention many a HOT moment! You will likely need a cold shower after reading *wink wink* However, this story is not all hot scenes and romance, there is a darker, dangerous storyline playing out, and all their lives are in danger. Shifters are fascinating, strong and clever, and someone wants to capture that for themselves.

I truly enjoyed reading The Embers of Phoenix by AJ Blackburn. Phoenix is definitely a character you can fall in love with. There is plenty of excitement, suspense, and of course hotness in this book. The wolf pack comes to life in the story and I was drawn into it as I watched them fight against the hunters. The characters are very well developed and the plot is gripping. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series. I will definitely be checking out other books by this author.

Now that I’ve finished the book, I can’t wait for the second!!! So amazing! I mean, panty melting, nail biting, can’t stop reading kind of book!!! Between Ember and Phoenix, you seriously can’t get enough!!!! Make sure you have a solid glass of wine, vibrator or spouse and ride on! I mean, read on!!!! If you’re looking for a book that will make you scream, moan and kick up the heart rate, this is it!!!
