Author of contemporary romance featuring rock stars, small towns, a healthy dose of angst, some steamy times and always a happy ever after!

When not writing, I can usually be found binge watching teen drama series on Netflix, or supporting Spurs from my armchair, and running around after my two feline children, Corey and Elsa.

Real Angst. Real Romance.

When Mat left Bree to further his career in a rock band she was left heartbroken. Suddenly he is coming back to town for the music festival and Bree is one of the organizers. Will Bree have the courage to put aside her hurt to face him again? Will Mat have changed?

A heartbreaking story of two people madly in love who were separated by circumstances with no explanation. It is a realistic story full of pain, anguish and regret but also off the charts chemistry between the two lead characters. Great supporting characters in Bree's friend and Mat's brother. A well written second chance rock star romance with a small town feel. An enjoyable read with an unexpected ending.

"I wanted her. No questions. No doubts."

4 Push and Pull Stars. Heartbreaking and emotional!

Mat and Bree were each others first loves, but that all changes when Mat chose his career over Bree and left her broken hearted. She swore she'd never let him back in again because she can't deal with that heartache. And when he breaks her heart for a second time, she's not sure she can survive this one. When Mat comes back into town to take care of his parents, he's on a mission to win his girl back no matter what the cost.

This book is emotional on so many levels, but yet so beautifully told. There's a lot of frustration between the two and you can feel it coming off the pages. This is the second book I've read by Julie, and I can say it won't be the last!

Bree & Mat were in love, but he chose his career over her, and they broke up. It broke Bree's heart completely, and it felt like Mat was just ho hum about it in my eyes. Anyway, 4 years later Mat comes home to help his brother out, and it just so happened that he ran into Bree, and she didn't want to talk to him. They danced around each other for a bit before their chemistry took over, and they hooked up again. However, things the next day didn't go well, and Mat left without even saying goodbye. Man, I really didn't like Mat, and the story wasn't long enough for me to change my opinion. See, he knew he was being a coward, but he did NOTHING to fix it. With everything that happened in the past & the present day, the ending was a bit rushed for me because I needed Mat to actually fix what he broke! Anyway, this is just my opinion, please decide for yourselves by hitting those one click buttons because despite my rage at the hero, I still couldn't put this book down until every last page was devoured! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This is an intense read about second chance love. Bree & Matt had a young messy break-up when Matt followed his career as a rock star, he comes back to town to bail out his brother and ends up interacting with Bree as a result. They can't deny that they still have feelings for each other but as we all know second chances take work. The story developed slowly for me as there were lots of characters and relationships to keep track of. Bree & Matt had minimal interaction WITH each other till after 50% of the way through the book. I felt like some of the other story lines should have been cleaned up a little bit as I was left hanging and feeling like pieces were unresolved. Bree was great - didn't much care for Matt - he seemed a bit spineless, but none the less it was a good read that had a nice HEA.

Is he really worth one more wish.....not so much for me

Wish You Once More is the story of Bree Sheridan and Mat Redmond. They had been in love but Mat wanted to pursue his dream of becoming a rock star. So he left town four years ago and left Bree behind with a majorly broken heart. Now he has come back to help his brother and they cross paths again. This time though Bree is not so friendly with him, can you really blame her though. But soon they are heating things up again only Mat is still playing with Bree's heart from my POV.
I have read a couple books by this author and while I thought the writing was good in this book I did not much like the actual story-line. I think it was just not for me at the end of the day and other readers will love it.

I received a copy of this book and am leaving my honest review. My opinions are all my own.

This is a new author to me, but I will certainly be looking out for her work in the future. This is Mat and Bree’s story. Mat chose his career instead of Bree leaving her heartbroken, and now after 4-years apart he is back as his family needs him. Seeing Mat again bring back all the emotions and feelings from the past, but can Bree forgive and move on as they have many challenges to overcome. If Mat leaves again will this be the end of them? This is a food story which is a 2nd chance rock-star romance, and is filled with drama, angst, and love. I was intrigued and hooked throughout, and I look forward to reading move from this author, and I recommend this for all.

Nice

It was nice reading but I got real frustrated with Matt. Was he in love with Bree? Not in the beginning cause he avoided her and ran from everything. Playing with Elle wasn't right either and with kissing her was just confusing her. Four years and he never looked her up or had anything to do with her. Also Scott was not nice to her and was trying to break them up. Why go to LA anyway? Your in Britain they have studios too. Why didn't he text Bree when his dad was put in the hospital? Why did he shut her off and everyone else? This is why I had problems with the story as I didn't see the romance.

RATING: 3.5
Wish You Once More is a sweet second chance romance. When rockstar Mat Redmond comes home to his small town and bumps into his old flame Bree fireworks happen. I enjoyed Bree and her down to earth personality. The story progresses pretty fast however I do feel it was a tad rushed and I had some questions still. I did enjoy both main characters and secondary characters. I found the small town charming and of course enjoyed the steamy bedroom action that went on. Nice second chance at love read.

-Marie, ☆☆☆☆

A story left untold caused two people who were madly in love to separate with broken hearts. Mat and Bree tried to continue on with life but there was always something missing.

A chance encounter brought them together and they could not avoid one another. What happened next will make hopeless romantics everywhere swoon!!

I loved this book! The chemistry, the story was absolutely amazing!

Mat and Bree were together at Uni, they made plans for their future, until, suddenly, Mat left to go to the States without giving Bree any explanation. Four years later and he's back, helping his brother out at a local music festival, Bree is on the committee and has to meet him. Will she hear him out?
A good read.

Oh, I hate when two people destined for each other don't do what they can to be together. Matt left Bree and that hurts, especially because he does it again. There is a lot of pain in this story and angst but there is also chemistry and passion and I felt for Bree and then also for Matt but then I would be frustrated with both. It's such a well-written story I couldn't put it down.

Wish You Once More was a rockstar/second chance romance. Years ago, Bree and Mat were a couple. After going their separate ways, they've had time to mature and figure out what's important to them. When they see each other again, old feelings and memories are stirred up. This is a quick one sitting read.

I liked the two characters and their progression through the story. They were both young and inexperienced the first time around and now they get a second chance to hopefully learn from the first time around.

[1.25 star] didn't like the book to be honest. both the hero and heroine actions just felt pretty childish to me. the execution also felt very superficial, no depth.

This second chance romance was an enjoyable read. From the complications and unspoken reasons for the couple's initial split up, to the explanations of it and more mixed messages, this story had plenty of drama to keep me going.

Bree and Mat are very skittish and nervous to be around each other after four years apart to start with but, it was obvious that they need a good, long, chat to clear the air. So many obstacles are put in their way but things get cleared up eventually.

I loved the friends and family that built this story up too. This was a good read but I felt that the plot was rather predictable.
