A compelling story
The author is a terrific writer. She has a way of pulling you into the stories. I absolutely loved the Book 1. This part was a little harder to read because it was so dark. Dark yet riveting.
I love the way I was able to feel so many emotions and being so invested in the characters. I loved the visualizations, the raw unrefined emotions. She was able to switch between POV even within chapters without making it feel weird. It was worth every penny.
However, the story was just too dark for me. World is already bad enough without my fantasy world also following same. There's cheating in the story as well but so well written that it was hard to balk at it. It might not be everyone's cup of tea.
Overall, a very compelling and well told story. I loved it but won't be reading more from the author because it's too much of an emotional rollercoaster

A lire absolument!!!
Ce 2eme opus est excellent, prenant et impressionnant.
Le destin de l'héroïne est terrible. Là, où son trait de caractère était too much dans le 1er opus , il sera le plus attachant dans le second. Il sera le fil conducteur du récit. Il fera l’histoire. On comprend mieux pour l'auteur a choisi ce type de personnage pour son récit.
Marian Tee a a su décrire de manière magistrale les terribles évènements que subit l'héroïne qui est pour moi le personnage qui fait le livre.
Excellent.

Dark Love
I love the way that this book ends. After a journey to the darkest parts of the heart, after really believe that he was protecting his Fawn from the danger that he could bring to her life, Reid finally understood that was him that was being
protected. Fawn almost lost everything until she give up, luckily Reid was there to protect her...Completely in love, Marian was deep and dense this time! Love this characters.

Not bad maybe..
The writing was pretty good given that I ended up finishing the book. I like how the author showed the characters emotions instead of telling. The characters did not captivated me though. The mc cried and blush a lot. The h blushed a lot too. Not very alpha book material type of character. The worst was the used of the word cobanana instead of c**k. Too cheesy dialogues at times with the heroine being weak/immature. Enjoyed book one but not book two.

I love how this authors writes her heroines. They are cheesy, goofy and completely oblivious. The Grant storyline was frustrating and I wanted it to end sooner but nothing prepared me for the kidnapping and the suffering the heroine had to go through. That was terrible and I'm not sure I enjoyed the book quite as much after that point.
