The sound of ghostly laughter. An unsolved disappearance. And an ectoplasmic experience!
Lorna Shadow is starting a new job, and hopeful this one will be permanent. But she isn't in the house for long before the ghosts arrive, and bring a tragic secret with them.
With Zach working away and concerned about her safety with so many ghosts around, Lorna must rely on Helen and Flipper to help her with this puzzle. How are the ghosts connected, and what do they know about how they died?
Lorna must find out and help to heal a grieving household; a household with plenty of skeletons in the closets.
This is the third book in the Lorna Shadow cozy ghost mystery series. It features adventure, ghostly mystery, and a whole lot of clean fun. Join Lorna, Flipper, her faithful dog, and the ever ditzy Helen, as they try to keep their places in the household, and help the ghosts find peace.
K.E. O’Connor is the author of the Witch Haven mystery series, the Crypt Witch cozy mysteries, the Lorna Shadow ghost mysteries, the Holly Holmes baking mysteries, the Zee Town paranormal cozy series, and the Old Sarum mystery series, along with other titles available if you cast the right spell. She can imagine dragons, taste cookies when they aren’t even there, and hear the crack of a witch’s broom at a hundred paces.
K.E. (the K stands for Karen) lives in the United Kingdom (it isn’t very united, but that’s a mystery for another time) among the mystical stones and fairy creatures of Somerset. She graduated from the Universities of Southampton and Reading, where she received degrees in Archaeology and Cognitive Evolution (both highly entertaining to take part in, but with the career options of a ground witch’s toe bone.)

As much as I am enjoying these books, they're simple, easy-going fun. The language is annoying, supposedly set in England, with English people, the constant use of Americanisms is grating. Brits don't spread jelly on their toast. It's Jam. They don't live in apartments. They live in flats. They don't offer anyone tea and cookies, it's biscuits etc and NO ONE talks about sororities, they just don't exist in Britain
Lorna can see ghosts. She, her friend Helen, and her boyfriend Zach try to always get jobs together. The problem is, seeing ghosts and helping them have caused them to lose a few jobs! This time, it involves children's ghosts, their employers having had twins who had died from heart defects in the house. Wonderful read, with a great storyline and characters!
Ghostly Games is the third book in the Lorna Shadow Cozy Ghost Mystery series. Lorna is plagued with ghosts and once again must solve the mystery. Zach is away, and Lorna relies on Helen and Flipper for help. This was another fun and interesting book in this series. Definitely worth picking up!
The third in a book set. Read two in one day. Well named as cozy mysteries. Nothing too violent, but intriguing enough that you have to go on reading to the end. I plan to get other books in this series.
Another new job! Again a ghostly experience and the girls have to solve the mystery before anyone else gets hurt. Although the book is as well written as the previous books the pattern is just too obvious. Would have been nice to mix things up a little.
Still liking the characters..hopefully learn a little more about the characters in the next book. Still just fun, chilled books that you dont have to think too much about. Just enjoy
How are they connected and how did they die??? He father killed her and she has been alone since then??? I enjoyed this story and recommended the book.
This was outstanding. Was so glad that Lorna was able to put the ghost to rest. Zach came through like a true gentleman and has accepted the ghost with Lorna. Looking forward to the next book in this series
Lorna can see ghosts, but cannot hear them when they try to speak to her. She tries to help them to move onto the next place to be. In this story she sees and hears children's ghosts, but she is not sure how to help them as she has never had much to do with children. But with the help of Flipper, her dog, and her friend Helen; she manages to do the job and help the children and also their parents. This is an enjoyable story with good strong characters. I was given an Advanced copy of this book and am freely and voluntarily writing this review.
