About the author

Creativity is in John Biemer’s blood, especially after spending more than two decades in the retail field. What WASN’T creative was the same book he was reading night after night to his then two-year-old son. That was the genesis for John to write a unique baby book that both the reader and listener could enjoy.

Tiny Team Books was created to help kids develop a love of reading through connecting their parent’s love of their favorite college or university. Baby Buckeyes allows parents and kids an opportunity to bond—by sharing their school’s traditions and experiences on every page. The book makes for a great baby shower or holiday gift.

Eleven years ago John started Jerseysofhope.org, a nonprofit dedicated to delivering athletic jerseys to hospital patients to lift their spirits and provide hope. Jerseys of Hope has given out more than 4,000 jerseys to people in need.

It is difficult to get our three-year-old to sit and relax at ANY time of the day. He had no problem curling up with his Old Man to read Baby Buckeyes. It's a fun, easy read for both kids and adults. The artwork is stellar. Highly recommended!

I have been giving this book at baby showers in lieu of a card. I love how vibrant it is and how you can feel action within the book. I like that the story centers around the college student. Hopefully, the book will get kids excited to go to college when they grow up. I hope the author does other colleges like Penn State, U of MD as well!

Any family who values education NEEDS to add this to their child’s reading list! The imagery was able to keep my 3 year old son and niece entertained and hooked to what was being read to them, and in the end they both have already decided they want to be Buckeyes!
