Rate this book
This is an introductory text on digital computer design that does not presuppose an extensive knowledge of electronics or mathematics. A knowledge of programming in Pascal (or FORTRAN) would be useful to give the student a proper perspective to appreciate the development of the subject. The fourth edition is revised and updated and reflects the changes and improvements in computers including topics such as RISC architecture.
