Incredible, Suspenseful and HOT!!!!
This book was absolutely amazing! I read it in a day and couldn’t put it down. There was so much mystery and suspense. The amazing main character and bakery owner Lucy has become the target of some break-ins. No one can figure out what or who is targeting poor Lucy! Enter Mick who is new to town and a cop who is determined to keep Lucy safe. However, Mick and Lucy have some history as Mick is the older brother to Lucy’s best friend Mia. And Mick has some secret feelings he keeps hidden that he wants to explore. But no matter what , he is determined to keep Lucy safe!
Amanda’s writing is captivating and flawless! This book was incredible. It had me on the edge of my seat the entire time. The suspense was killing me trying to figure out who the bad guy was. However, the hot chemistry between Lucy & Mick flew off the pages and distracted me in a great way to forget there was a bad guy roaming around. I found myself reading so fast to see where there relationship was going!
This book is amazing. It had a little bit of everything for all types of readers! This series is phenomenal! Amanda Bailey’s writing is engaging and perfection! She grabs your attention from the very first page! I am a huge fan of her books and especially this series! An absolute must read!!!

I received an ARC copy of this book for my honest review. What a fun read! This author keeps surprising me as I advance in her series, is really gifted at creating lovable and believable characters, and her stories are very entertaining.
Dare me is a spin-off of the Dare to Dream series, and there is a somewhat previous story to Lucy and Mick but this book is a very easy to read stand-alone. The story is fast-paced and there is the clever mystery ingredient that makes it all the more engaging. I immensely enjoy strong female characters, and Lucy doesn't disappoint; I love how she recognizes her limits and shortcomings but is committed to overcome whatever obstacles she is facing. Mick is absolutely perfect in his respectful and patient but relentless pursuit of the woman he wants. The book is well written, engaging, steamy, and sweet. Definitely will keep reading from this author.

I got this book as an ARC from the Author. Thank you Amanda Bailey! I am so glad I made it onto her Review Team because she is one of my new favorite authors. This book was really great. It was swoon worthy, no BS, straight forward, steamy, romantic, and sweet. I fell in love with Mick and Lucy. There was plot and great structure. It was an easy read with a little get your mind thinking mystery. I would compare it to a Hallmark movie, everything ends out great, the characters don't do anything/nothing terrible happens to them. I loved the Epilogue and the messages interwoven in the story. Mick and Lucy are so cute, I was smiling through the whole story. It's got a lot of heart, sweet, and tender moments. I also love how the couples from the previous books in this series make an appearance. I can't wait to see what else she has instore for us. ;)

And i have too say its quite an enjoyable read, ill definitely be looking forward to more of her books.
Initially i wasn't fond of the female lead. I didn't like how she stereotyped him based on someone else's actions, but as the story progressed I feel the character grew more lovable and relatable, i saw quite a great amount of character development. The male lead is an absolute sweetheart and i like the fact that hes not only sweet but has a bit of an oomph to him, id say hes my favorite character and what kept me turning the pages of the book in eagerness.
All in all this was a pretty interesting book and although i wasn't and i am not the biggest fan of the female lead, the book is worth your time.

This story is the perfect addition to this amazing series and is Lucy and Mick’s story. Lucy is a feisty and independent bakery owner, and Mick is her best friend’s older brother as well as a sexy and protective police officer. The chemistry between these two is intense and when Lucy is the victim of a series of break-ins, Mick will protect her no matter what. This is a beautifully written story which has an engaging plot and characters, as well as having twists, intrigue, suspense, passion, and love. I cannot wait to read more from this talented author and I highly recommend her work for all readers.

I've not read one of Amanda Bailey's books before but I enjoyed Mick and Lucy's story, so it won't be my last.
Lucy is a strong headed character and I didn't really like her at first, she came across as a bit rude. But she has reasons.
Mick also came across as very enamoured with Lucy from the start, I'm not sure how much contact they have had in previous books, but he was sweet on her from the beginning.
It was a great story of them getting together, learning to deal with each others personality and need to be in control whilst someone seems to be out to get Lucy.
I also enjoyed reading about the other characters in the book. It was well written and kept me entertained.

Lucy isn't the way I envisioned her in earlier books in the series. She's fantastic though. I am thrilled that Bailey went back to an earlier series to give the story of another character. Mick and Lucy's romance was great. While I love the way the stories in a series are all interconnected, I truly appreciate that each book can stand alone. It is incredibly difficult to do that and pull it off. This book, in particular, could've had real issues, but including just small snippets from prior books in the series allow for easy reading. Overall, it's a quick, fun read that I really enjoyed.

I couldn't put this book down once I started reading it and I can't wait for the next book in this series to come out.

Yet another fantastic addition to Amanda Bailey's Dare to Dream series!
I loved Lucy and Mick.
Lucy is an independent, strong willed bakery owner and Mick is an overprotective cop that Lucy tries to resist but just can't ;)
I love how patient Mick is with her when he learns how she was hurt in the past and despite her dislike for overprotective cops she can't help but be drawn to him.
This is a well written love story that's filled with twists and turns and plenty of steamy romance.
A must read for any Amanda Bailey fan!

Author, Amanda Bailey is skilled at creating characters that are lovable with a slight edge, story-lines that keep moving, romantic situations that sizzle and just the right amount of intrigue to keep you guessing. Mick is the Police Officer that we wish was the standard; smart, fair, protective and loyal. Lucy is fiery and independent with control issues and some past baggage. How can Mick convince Lucy that while she CAN do it alone, she doesn't HAVE TO. Pick up Dare Me and you won't want to put it down.

July 14, 2020Holy Hilarity and Hotness!! I can’t express how much I enjoyed Dare Me. Amanda Bailey has written a fast-paced sister’s friend romance. I giggle-snorted the entire time while reading this book that was full of humour, twists and turns, and steamy scenes, it has all the feels, and it was easy to get lost in the story of Lucy and Mick. This was my first read by Amanda Bailey but definitely not my last, I love the ease of her writing style, it was easy to pick up the book and not want to put it down.

Wow, what a book. It brought in several of the characters from before, and even had a little mystery to it, which normally I can figure it out but in this case I did not.
I love how Lucy was really independent and stubborn, I also loved the surprise of who her family was. That was a twist and turn in itself!!! Mick was so patient with her, but also allowed her to have her independence. They compliment each other very well!!!

I receive an ARC of Dare Me by @author_amandabailey for my honest review. I really enjoyed this book. Of course it came with romance and steam but there was also an investigation going on which was fun. I figured it out right before the reveal so it was rewarding when my realization was confirmed. I loved the relationship between Mick and Lucy and their family dynamics. Mick is definitely book boyfriend material. Get your copy of Dare Me on July 14th!!!

This series is not going to let me down either!!! I didnt think it would stand up next to the first series but somehow this author has done it !!! I was totally going down one road unwind as I read this book, but once again I was thrown for a loop with a twist in the plot!!! I love these books and the way they pull me in and intertwine with me. Cant wait for the next one !!! ❤

I loved this book. Lucy and Mick are an amazing couple together. I mean who doesn't love cupcakes and hot men in uniforms, right. This book definitely has you using her detective skills to figure out who the bad guy is in the book. The love that develops between these two is so sweet. I love the stubbornness in Lucy and the willingness to wait for her to come to him in Mick.

Lucy and Mick. They both have feelings for the other, but have not told the other person. When they finally get together there are plenty of fireworks!! A great story with lots of drama. Loved it!!

This is my first Amanda Bailey read and I will definitely be checking out other books of hers. This story flowed with twist and turns you won’t expect…I was engaged throughout. Along with the love story between Mick and Lucy, Bailey weaves in intrigue to entice you.
I like a story that has great secondary characters as well as the main characters…this book has some great personalities that elevate the story. Mick is a sexy alpha with a sweet side…Lucy is sassy, independent, sexy, and stubborn. These two are passionate and love fiercely. As with all good love stories, there are bumps in the road to their HEA.
