A disastrous warehouse fire more than a year ago supposedly destroyed millions of dollars worth of rare paintings and killed two people on guard duty, including F6's lifelong friend, F7.

But when F6 receives a note in F7's familiar handwriting, she starts to question everything she knows about the night of the fire. She goes to San Francisco to interrogate the other people who were working that night, only to discover that all four men who survived the fire are now missing.
