I'm Lexi Sanders, and I'm a time-traveling, cold-case solving witch!
Usually I enjoy spending time with my non-supernatural boyfriend, Shawn, but lately he's been hinting at moving in together...which wouldn't be a bad thing, if only I'd been honest up front and told him not only was I a witch, but my "real" job wasn't working at the museum as a curator but as a time-traveling detective with a dedicated familiar, Rex the Rat. As luck would have it, a new case has just dropped onto my rickety old balcony. A newspaper reporter was murdered, the crime going unsolved. Rex and I have seven days to figure out the culprit and bring him or her to justice! You know the drill...1955 is my time, to solve this heinous crime!

Fun series. The books in the series are written by different authors. St James has written 2 books so far in the 9-book series (as of 2022). It seems each author writes about a different character in the Time traveling witch group. I enjoy the St James character, Lexi and her familiar Rex (the rat). The endings come pretty abruptly but the mysteries solved aren't glaringly obvious and the view into the past is pretty enlightening sometimes.

Happier Days in Time is a wonderful and fun mystery. I love this book. It is full of adventure, mystery, and humor. Lexi and Rex and incredible characters. Their interactions are humorous and interesting. The mystery has so many twists and turns and suspects that you are kept guessing right to the surprising end. I love this series. I highly recommend this book.

Absolutely adorable fun read! If you are into time travel and witches, join Lexi and Rex the rat her familiar, as they solve mysteries. Love the description of the characters,you can just visualize them in your head. Can't wait to see Lexi and Rex in the next book.

Such a great addition to the witch in time series! I loved watching Lexi navigate daily martinis and gelatined-SPAM dinners in the 1960s. Excellent mystery and great characters made for a fun and engaging read!

Happier days in time
I just love jenna's Sullivan sisters and rylie Sinclair books. This is the first time reading this series and it won't be my last. Loved being brought back to my last. Thanks Jenna. Love you!!

Love the series so far
I love the characters, especially the familiar, Rex the Rat. The mystery of who did it is captivating. Liking the series so far. Ready for more.

Another wonderful adventure with Lexi and Rex. Great details for 1955 and so fun to read about. Excellent mystery with so many possible suspects and some amazing twists. Poor Rex really gets a workout in this one. What a great twist at the end with help from someone we will most likely meet again. One of my very favorite series.
