The first half of the story was rolling on nicely, but the second half did not due to the inexplicable characters’ behaviours and reactions that held no rationality.
Throughout the story there were multiple points of view, the pace varied and it was angsty, dark and intense.
I struggled enough and finally dnf @ 78%.

Holy smokes! What a wild roller coaster of a ride! There was never a dull moment and I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. The suspense was driving me crazy and I couldn’t believe when everything started unfolding and playing out. This is a must read but make sure you are buckled up right and tight. It’s a wild ride.

Angel Rose has completely outdone herself with 'Atrevido'. If you've read the blurb then you know they've lost their parents at a young age leaving the oldest to become the head of the Galician Crime Family. He's faced with a challenge for power, the kidnapping of his sister, and all the ruthlessness that comes from a hard-hitting, gritty, mafia storyline. Then add the fact that Fate and Angel Rose has turned his item of revenge into someone he's irrevocably drawn to. There are so many twists and turns that had me producing a plethora of emotions throughout. The suspense of what would happen next kept me turning pages until early the next morning but I couldn't seem to put it down until I finished. Anyone that faces triggers might want to take heed but truthfully, if you're like me and a lover of dark romance, this is a kicka$$ story.

Wow there are no words to explain how much I loved this book. As my first book by this Author I must say it shocked me. You get to meet fantastic characters, hate others, and get shocked at the twist and turns. I just love the uniqueness of the characters names. The writing and flow of this book is top notch. I absolutely recommend this book.

Rollercoaster of emotions
OMG...this book is full of emotion, this book took me on the most beautiful and intense ride, ups, downs, twist and turns, and loopty loos. I felt the highest and lowest of emotions sometimes at the same time. The book Had love, friendship, family and hate. I could not put this book down, I was so immersed in the book, going to bed and sleeping was not an option until the end. Fabulous characters and story.

WOW! I was definitely gobsmacked while reading ATrevido by Angel Rose. There is so much packed into this book. The story is told in multiple POV, but it doesn't hamper the story one bit. The characters range in ruthlessness and as a reader I didn't see things as black and white, but areas of gray. I understood Adone's motivation behind his decisions. Angel Rose writes a deliciously dark and twisted mafia romance masterfully. I was captivated from start to finish. The pacing was superb. Kudos to Angel Rose!

Wow the world of Mafiosos, is not anything to play with. That major families in this story are ruthless and they don’t like disrespect.
ATrevido is a story about a young man who has to grow up and become everything for his family but when tragedy befalls him and he doesn’t know who to trust, he has to do whatever it takes to save his family.
Angel,is a favorite of mine and I been reading her for a long time. This story is right up there with the rest of them.

You cannot imagine how I feel right now about Angel Rose being a new to me author, because OH MY HELL! I have been missing out which makes me want to kick myself for being so late to the party. This story should have come with a warning to buckle the hell up before starting this chaotic journey as it never slowed down for even a minute. Man I'm truly a dark & twisty girl so this made my dark & twisty soul sing, especially since I never not once saw what I experienced coming. The danger is in the form of the mafia families involved because they seem to think that Andone (who took over as a teenager) is somehow weak, and while he doesn't know who's betraying him but he'll brutally burn down the world to find out. It makes him ruthless, as there's nothing he wouldn't do to keep his family safe, even kidnapping his rival's daughter for revenge. This story, oh this story was brilliant in the telling, and I couldn't put it down to save my life. I simply CANNOT WAIT to read more by this author, and HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO THOSE BRAVE ENOUGH!

There is violence and abuse, proceed cautiously for there may be triggers. Angel sure knows how to write a story. She knows how to draw you in and keep you there. This is a Mobster story of power and greed. Andone is the eldest of siblings who lost their parents and he must take over the business. After two years of running the business he is challenged. At 20 years old, has he bitten off more than he can chew? Worth many families that he protects which ones can he trust? You'll be taken in a very twist and turns kind of ride while Andone tries to save his sister after she's been kidnapped. I can't say enough about Angel and her writing, she is very talented. She can give you soft and she can give you gritty but you always get a happy ending.

I love me some big bad mafioso, especially one with a big heart and Andone was no exception. His loyalty and love to his family melted my heart but his ruthlessness and anger melted my panties!
I really did love this book there was never a dull moment and it had me wanting more. I never knew what was coming next, I was kept on the edge of my seat hanging on for dear life through all of the crazy twist and turns. I was fully invested in it. Angel Rose definitely has a way with her words and her books never disappoint! Great read!

Gorgeous mobster? Check. Steaming hot scenes? Check. Murder, suspense, and mayhem? Check. A giant dose of Angel Rose's particular brand of mess with your emotions, and blow your mind kind of writing? Double check!! ATrevido is unlike any mafia book I've read. I mean, sure it has all the regular elements that go into a wonderfully dark Mafia Romance. But, as usual, Angel brings her A game to this twisted tale to make it all her own. Which makes it a truly original story. I dare you to not fall in love with Andone Trevido.

Brutal and unforgiving Andone Trevido will have you captivated and truthfully a little bit scared. While dark and dangerous this mob boss also radiates a sensuality that will have your panties melting. The plot is action packed and it will blow your mind. The twists and turns will have you on the edge of your seat. ATrevido brings new meaning to dark, Mafia romance. Angel Rose has written what I think is the best, in this genre, that I have read in a long time.

I really wanted to give this book a chance but unfortunately had to DNF at 32%
The beginning showed some potential although everything happened kind of fast and the “mystery” of what happened didn’t really seem to play a part as they got older.
This has multiple pov’s (which I don’t mind) but the character just didn’t do it for me. It was all over the place with so many little things happening it was like a loop.
Maybe I’ll give it another chance in the future. Just wasn’t for me

This book is intense. A mob family trying to survive. After his parents are murdered Andone is trying to protect his family and at the same time he is trying to continue his fathers business. He is only in his teens . Is he getting the respect from the other families? A whirlwind of things happening are making it difficult for him. I was sucked in this story from the beginning.

In the mafia world only the strongest survive. The head boss is gone and now his son must take over the leadership of the mob along with being the guardian of his younger siblings. It's not an easy task and Angel Rose shows us the nitty gritty of how gruesome things get. Learning who to trust and who becomes your enemy in this business. This was definitely a page turner. Angel Rose did add in some romance and provides the reader with a HEA. I did get a tad bit confused with so many different side characters but the story was great.

I am a huge fan of Dark Mafia Romance. So much so it's my favorite type of book to read. I love how mafia books always have some kind of action with enemies in it and how you are always on the edge of your seat. Well this book was no exception to that!!
This is my first book by Angel Rose and it was amazing. After seeing my friend do a review on TikTok about it I knew I had to read it! Let me just say it was sooo worth it!!
At the age of 18 Andone looses his best friend, and parents to murder. Has to learn to be the head of the family mafia business and a parent to both of his siblings. As he is learning to become the head of the Mafia he feels as if things are going great and he is doing an amazing job at it bringing up number for others he does business for and tripling sales. However, when they have a meeting the Knight family calls him out and they are refusing to do buisness with him. This makes Andone mad and he seeks revenge.
This book has a lot of triggers so make sure you check the trigger description before you proceed to read. However, if you are a huge fan of mafia, or suspense romance this is one you should read! It will have you on the edge of your seat, pulled into the book and keep you there wanting more. Angel knows what she is doing when she writes. I now have a new author I enjoy reading from and I can't wait to read more from her!

Wow, just Wow!
Angel Rose is an amazing author! She has given us a brilliantly woven story. It gets the reader engrossed from the very start! Hop on this ride of a very darkly wicked romance, The world building is well presented and atop this, vividly portrayed characters. These characters will pull on your heartstrings There is drama, action, suspense and an unexpected plot that makes you wonder who? and why? This broke my heart into a million pieces. Then my heart mended and yes I did cry. Why? Well, not always do you mend completely there's always one little shard that disappears leaving an open gash in your heart.
This well written nitty gritty treasure of a book will not dissapoint you. I admired the love Andone Trevido had for his siblings and how protected they were. I highly recommend this story to anyone and everyone but remember it's Dark. I'm reading it again for sure‼🖤🌹

Reading the first page I thought I would hate reading this book but, much to my surprise I actually liked it. I enjoyed how the chapters swapped between the different points of view of each character and yet continued the storyline. I also liked how the book wasn't just about loss, betrayal, and money, it was also about love and the hard decisions and sacrifices that you have to make for the people you love.
My only dislike was the crudeness of some of the subject matter but, that can be expected with a book dealing with organized crime. Overall a great book that I would recommend to anyone who enjoys fictional stories about organized crime.

This is the most darkest intense novel that i have ever read... there is no let up or breathing space whilst reading it, so it keeps you hocked from the very first few pages. It is not a romance at all... just a dangerous tale of betrayal and love for ones family. I feel like Treivdo could of done more, after all he was a hit man but most of the time he sat around doing very little whilst his family were in danger. There is also so many characters that make your head spin" wondering what the hell is going on?! A novel not for the faint of heart.. so read with caution.

Could he hold his position of the family’s business and save the family that he had left. Or is it his family that betrayed him. I highly recommend this book, you will not put it down

This book take you on an emotional roller-coaster ride of everything. Andone will do and has done everything to protect his sister Valentina, and his brother Xabier, when his parents are murder he must take over the family business and from there this book takes off. From one page to the next more is revealed and the darker it becomes. Each twist will pull you in and leave you floored. This book won't disappoint. It's dark, intense, twisted, emotional, and will make you cry. I can't wait to read more from this author.

This is not the usual mafia romance. The plots is filled with twists and surprises. Andone plans to trade Mia for his sister. Things do not go as he plans. There is graphic violence, and it is action-packed. Sometimes, it is hard to keep track of all the characters, and sometimes the characters do things which make no sense. Overall, I enjoyed this story

I enjoyed discovering the Trevido family. The complexity of the world they grew in kept my attention. As Andone builds a name for himself, he discovers life is not easy. This is where the story gets really interesting. Angel Rose shows us all the dirty, gritty truth of the Mafia world and trusting can be a downfall.
I would love to see more of the darkness they must endure. 😏😬
