Pointless

TL;DR This “book” is not a book. It also does not provide anything different than the basic setup instructions included with Echo devices and programmed into the devices themselves. It does not offer any troubleshooting tips at all!

This ‘pamphlet’ (that’s basically all it is) offers nothing additional or useful, in that it simply reiterates the basic setup instructions to connect Amazon devices to a WiFi network that are given in the Alexa app.

Even if one is brand new to Amazon Echo devices, and is setting one up for the very first time, the instructions are included with the purchased device, and in case the printed instructions are not present or if one bought the device second-hand without any packaging or inserts, once the device is plugged into a power source, it will provide guidance for the first couple of required steps, one of which is to download and login to the Alexa app to finish setup.

The only reason I downloaded this title was because I’m having trouble connecting one of my Amazon devices to a new WiFi network, and hoped that a guidebook, or something that appeared to be a guidebook anyway, might offer some information relating to more complex connection issues and troubleshooting tips, which this definitely does not.

I cannot fathom why in the world anyone would take the time to even type this stuff out, let alone why Amazon would post it as an ‘e-book’ on the Kindle Store, giving the misleading impression that it will offer additional insight to deal with connection challenges, or contain comprehensive and perhaps useful information that is not well known or otherwise offered elsewhere.

I’m aggravated that I took the time to download it and actually read through it.

It’s pointless and stupid.

Not very helpful

This wasn't helpful at all. I ordered 3 other books that helped a little more, but I am ticked off that Amazon never states you need to purchase a special plug if you want it to turn on/off a lamp.

Not Much Help

You can get these answers when you plug in the device. I say skip this and move to the next book. Hopefully it’s better.
