Board books which cover the alphabet look deceptively simple. In fact, they are difficult to create successfully. One letter is connected to a single word. F IS FOR FARM by Ashley Mireles is a wonderful creative example of using the farm setting for each letter. For example, “R is for Rooster”, “S is for Seeds” and “T is for Tractor.” Fun words are combined with colorful illustrations from Volha Kaliaha.
Using places, animals and plants F IS FOR FARM is a fascinating way to teach your child the alphabet. I recommend this book.
This board book leads the reader through the alphabet, teaching words that have to do with farming. Some of the words are obvious ones (D is for Duck, and B is for Barn), but others of them are more exotic (X is for Ximenia), and one of the words left me confused about why it was included (N is for Next-Gen).
The illustrations are bright and colorful, and I love the cute art style! Every page is vibrant with animals, plants, and farming equipment. The farmers pick apples in the orchard, irrigate the fields, harvest pumpkins, milk the cow, and collect eggs from the chickens.
This book is sure to spark questions and conversations about farming. Such a cute book!

This book is adorable XD Some of the words I think will go over the heads of the intended age range, but it's encouraging to see more content educating kids on the importance of agriculture!
