The spiral curriculum of Key Maths is designed to help pupils revise and consolidate important concepts. Each chapter contains questions in the style of the Test; these are clearly flagged in the Teacher File. Three Ma1 tasks in each pupils' book have detailed marking guidance in the Teacher File to support teacher assessment at the end of the Key Stage. Question Bank 9 contains sample test questions, with Levels, which may be used to confirm teacher assessment and the tier of entry to the Test.

About the author

David Baker came to Australia in 2010 to study his PhD in History of Science and Cliodynamics. He was previously a lecturer at Macquarie University and the University of Amsterdam, and is visiting Lecturer at the Sorbonne University in Paris. He is now a history, science, and true crime writer for the Simon Whistler network.
