Certain holiday spirits are keeping Karin’s hands full. And the challenges of motherhood and a cursed spell book have already put a dent in her usual good cheer.
But when she discovers the body of a man in a mountain stream, she’s swept into a mystery that will take all her magic and mental powers to solve. Because the dead man’s mysterious colleagues have taken an interest in Karin’s children…
This Christmas holiday novella is a complete cozy mystery and wraps up the story of the cursed spell book once and for all. If you’re a fan of Charlaine Harris, Heather Blake, or Amanda M. Lee, don’t miss Stream, book 9 in The Witches of Doyle cozy mysteries.
Stream is a witch cozy mystery featuring true-to-life spells in the back of the book, a trio of witchy sisters, and a dash of romance. Stream can be read as a standalone.

This was my favorite of the three novellas but the reasons could be spoilers. I enjoyed seeing Karin flex her magickal muscles. Let me say thank you for the easter eggs throughout the story. Since I’ve read all of that series, I could see there is going to be a crossover book in the future. Yay, I miss Riga and Brigitte. Now, just when will that new book release?
Lenore, Jayce and Karin are back and this book focuses on Karin. It opens with the birth of her son, Mitch, and supernatural, magical danger. Life should be good for Karin and Nick. They now have 2 happy, healthy children. The Book is still causing problems and it's Karin's turn to guard it. The sisters believe they fave a ritual that will finally rid the book of its demon and themselves of the Book. But of course, dead bodies start showing up and Black Lodge?
This is supposed to be the end of the Doyle Witches novellas, but it looks like we'll be seeing the sisters again.
Decent enough light read. Fantasy paranormal and romance abound in these teen/young adult books. Just wish the "main" story was not a carry through, I prefer standalone stories in series.
