My name is Redell of Overrealm, and after one snowy night with a vampire my life forever changed. No longer was I a fae born of light. I was resurrected in darkness as a hybrid—part vampire, part fae.
After two hundred years living in Centerrealm, the vampire king of Castle Bloodborne has discovered my existence. He plans to use me as a pawn to conquer Overrealm. With the help of my fated mates and the cold-blooded prince who turned me, I will use every ounce of my dual powers to stop the king’s plan and bring him to his knees. In a world where you’re either blessed by the light or cursed by the darkness, my existence will forever blur the lines.

Bloody Fae is book one in the Fae Hybrid Trilogy, a dark fantasy reverse harem series for readers 18+. It’s filled with lots of action, suspense, steam, and a splash of M/M because why not?

Wow! This is an amazing beginning to this series. I was immediately drawn into the world this author created. The FMC is seriously bad ass. I cannot wait to see where this goes. I really want to know what Aspen is hiding. I also want to know if Cedric has some secrets we don’t know about yet. There is just so much going on! I am so excited. This is a slower burn than I normally read but I am really hoping that picks up and quickly. Great Read!!

This was a great start to a new series! You are completely drawn into the world the author has created, wanting and needing more! The characters are fleshed out perfectly that you feel you can reach out and to inch them. I am waiting on pins and needles for the next installment! Great job, Keelan Hayward!

High Fantasy! EPIC! And just like wow! This book is seriously different to anything I've ever read before in a good way. You don't just get a book you become immersed in a completely new world cannot wait to find out what happens next and to see where the series goes from here.

Great start to what should be an amazing series.
Slow burn high fantasy, RH. This book has a little bit of everything blended together and instead of being overwhelming it all just fits beautifully.
I’m really excited to see what happens in book 2.

I really enjoyed this book, a great mix of Fae, Werewolf, Vampire and Human. Good storyline and character building. Slow burn but keeps you hanging on for more. All in all, a great read. Looking forward to book two.

A good start to a new series by Keelan Hayward, I love how the heroine isn't a brand new, naive barely adult female! She's been around for centuries and one of her harem takes the part of that wide eyed innocent to the supernatural and I thought it was a nice touch.

Can't wait to see what happens in the next book!

Premise - female solar fae who was turned into a vampire 200 years ago desiring revenge is in for a surprise when her maker makes a proposal that changes the trajectory of her life or undead life forever.

Our Female Main Character - I thought the FMC was so interesting and reminded me of Bethany Anne from the The Kurtherian Gambit series. She is bada$$ and is taking names. However, she does have a softer side as well that you see when her fated mates. I enjoyed the back and forth between the FMC and her maker.

World Building: Keelan does a really good job of creating an interesting world that I want to learn more about. I have so many questions about this world and I am sure further books will answer them. I appreciated the limiting of info dumps which are a pet peeve of mine (I know they are sometimes necessary but they are done effectively).

The Boys - As this is a reverse harem I assume we will get some more men as the series continues. I have to say I hope a certain fae might join her. I am also hopeful that she does not completely loose her ability to use solar magic and it transforms into something that is of both. The story that is told of the origin of the world leads me to think this may be the case. Fingers crossed!!

Baddies - they are bad really really bad and I despise them. I do think this is more to the reason behind their badness is a bit more complicated than the King wants our FMC to believe.

NOTE: DUAL POSTED ON AMAZON

I absolutely loved this book and I am excited for the next one!!! I loved the world building and the introduction to some of the side characters. I’m especially excited to see one particular side character in the next book and see how his character evolves. The interaction between the main characters was great. I thought the author did a wonderful job with showing the different dimensions to each character. I loved reading their vulnerability and watch how the harem members reaffirmed their belonging with each other. I enjoyed learning about the characters with the only other human in the story. It was like we were right there learning about the different races instead of a bunch of info dump. I loved the slow burn so that the characters could get to know each other (not that I mind fast burn at all). Overall I really enjoyed this book and cannot wait for the next.

Bloody fae was a good start to a new series. If you are into insta love and fated mates then you will enjoy this. It is multiple pov, which for me is a plus. The mc is fierce, and is a hybrid. She has been on her own for two hundred years after being banished from her clan. Then you have the alpha, the human, the vampire and I am hoping a certain someone from the overrealm will join as a mate down the road. I am interested to see where the story goes in book two.

Dnf 3%. Maybe lack of sleep has me cranky and impatient, but I can already tell this won't be for me. I wasn't really following the exposition, and the few instances of modern American expressions felt out of place in this fantasy world. I didn't care at all about the events of the first chapter beyond thinking the narrator was a bumbling idiot, and then the MC seemed impressed by him somehow, so I decided to stop there.

She was a fae of light able to make seeds grow and flowers bloom. She got too curious for all good and didn't see the danger be for it was too late. 200 years later she is trying to be better. Man she saves in the woods was once a boy when him and hes family  needed saving. He wasn't to thank her and stay by her side. Things go from there. Mates, find her maker as well as a plot agents those of light.

Not my cup

Dnf at 11%. To be fair I didn't give this one to much of a chance, The little I have read was pretty much awful in execution. The writing and story telling was one of maybe a first time author? And although I've been pleasantly surprised and have fell in love with some first time authors this isn't one of them

I enjoyed this story immensely. I love the diversity of the characters. The relationship dynamic is a bit of a slow burn, but the other parts of the story keep you hooked so you don't get so impatient that you stop reading. Also, the Widows...I need more of them. The world building is intriguing and I love the different places the characters go on their journey.
Looking forward to the next book!

Great start to the series and introduction to the world. I like the FMC a lot. The guys (and hopefuls) are really interesting. I’m really excited to read more about these characters in the next book.

This is my honest, voluntary review; I received an arc from the author.

Sexy and Fun

I really loved the world building of this novel, especially with how the different supernatural creatures were able to interact. I liked how the main group interacted with each other and the dynamics were interesting.

Captivating characters, a solid plot line, and enough twists to keep you reading.

Keelan Hayward has done an tremendous job with this first book in a trilogy. I can't wait to read the next book.
