I’m a country girl at heart, an author, a homesteader, and a lover of all things simple living. My passion lies in capturing the essence of the simpler side of life, much like the one I enjoyed growing up in rural Pennsylvania.

My life has always been intricately linked with Amish culture, and it’s only fitting that I have a deep, genuine love for their simplicity, sense of community, and God-centered way of living.

Growing up in Northwest Pennsylvania, I spent my childhood immersed in the heart of Amish Country. The rhythmic clip-clop of horse and buggies was my morning soundtrack as Amish men journeyed past my home to work. A pivotal moment in my young life was shaped by a tragic Amish murder, a story detailed in “Crimson Stain” by Jim Fisher. Jake, a key figure in that true story, was my uncle.

Now residing in South Carolina, my family and I frequently travel through the Amish regions of Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, and Wisconsin. These journeys are not just visits but research expeditions. I take pride in writing Amish fiction that authentically represents their culture, thanks to the invaluable insights from friends within these communities.

If the Amish lifestyle fascinates you, join me on Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, and check back here often for new short stories and updates on upcoming book releases. Together, let’s explore the serene and captivating world of the Amish.

Tracy Fredrychowski penned another lovely story with Love Blooms at The Apple Blossom Inn. Maggie was sent to Willow Springs to stay with her aunts with a job already arranged at The Apple Blossom Inn. Henry was staying at the Inn to meet with an Englisher business owner about a construction project his father’s business had bid on in Willow Springs. Maggie and Henry were introduced but Maggie soon discovered he already had someone special. There interactions gave way to laughter, smiles, hurts and Maggie’s aunts doing a little matchmaking when Maggie was determine to return to Wisconsin.

The characters are delightful with a variety of personalities that brought out their flaws when under pressure. A thread of suspense, romance, misunderstanding, a snow storm, dreams and so much more transpires that kept the pages turning until the end. An added bonus was all the delicious recipes that Amanda and Maggie made at the Inn are at the end of the book.

Fredrychowski has become one of my favorite authors after reading her debut novel, Secrets of Willow Springs Book 1 along with book 2 and a collection of short stories. It was nice to see previous characters of Willow Springs appear in this story as secondary characters. I look forward to reading more by Tracy Fredrychowski in the future.

This is the first book I read of Tracy. I opened it and scanned it like I do all my books. At the end of the book I noticed so many recipes I was delighted. I mentioned to the husband and I told him I will start chapter one and wait until tomorrow to read it. Well, that was not the case, as I opened the first page, I was captured in this sweet, fun, and whimsical story of Love, Faith and Hope.

Author Tracy put this "recipe" of a story with a dash of wonderful characters, a pinch of a great story line and cup of something special to blend you within these pages and be swift away to a place that was not hard to imagine in your mind and make it reality.

Maggie Fisher, who is a little stubborn and says what she feels. But would whip up amazing recipes, which are on the back of the story. And whos dad decided it was time for her to "create" her own life and family sends her to Pennsylvania with her two fun, matchmaking spinster aunts. Henry, who is going to Pennsylvania on behalf of his father to see on a bid for a construction and also to get his sister back home. They meet at the Apple Blossom Inn where Maggie has a job position for her already, and Henry is staying.

The story goes on as they both try to find out why a wealthy baker from New York would want an empty Amish farmland. That is when, Maggie and Henry start having feelings for each other. They share a Dream, a Baker she is and loves it and Henry a Farmer at heart. As the story unfolds, there is a secret that is connected to the empty farmhouse and the Inn that they both feel they need to uncover while letting their hearts blossom for one another. But after misunderstanding occurs, the two sweet, fun aunts gear up a matchmaking scheme to get these two lovable characters together. And with that set their dreams in motion. As, well as to save the place that got them together..... The Apple Blossom Inn.

This story was amazing. It made me feel at moments wanting to shake Maggie some common sense. It made me smile and Hope. A great sweet story that I found cute seeing each chapter had the names of recipes. Is a story that will pull you from a long day and release you into a place you have always thought of.

Highly recommended. Looking forward to reading more books from this author. Loved the way she incorporated all these "ingredients" together to form a great "recipe" of a story. Thank you Tracy for this copy of your book. I received it for my Honest Personal Opinion. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would.

Love Blooms at Apple Blossom Inn is an amazing story written by Tracy Fredrychowski in her new Apple Blossom Inn series. This is a story of finding love when determined not to. The characters are very likeable and well developed. The author has done an outstanding job telling a story filled with love, faith, family, and a big misunderstanding.

When Maggie Fisher is sent to Pennsylvania to live with her elderly aunts she is very upset. A job at Apple Blossom Inn has been arranged for her but her love is baking not being a housekeeper-assistant to the owner. When she meets Henry Schrock at the inn they seem to be drawn to each other. It's when Maggie sees Henry at a sandwich shop with another young lady she assumed he was being dishonest with both of them. As a mystery is unfolding at the inn over land that the inn keeper owns Maggie and Henry team up to figure it out. Through a series of events and Maggie being seriously injured Henry heads back home to Elkhart, Indiana and Maggie is determined to forget him.

I was not given a complimentary copy of this book to read and review. I was not approached to post a favorable response. I have rated this story with five stars for meeting my expectations of a wonderful story that I can highly recommend to others.

Congratulations to Tracy Fredrychowski on a wonderful start to a new series. I look forward to the next book to continue this story.

Tracy Fredrychowski might be considered a more recent newcomer among Amish authors, but she has quickly become one of my favorites. That was confirmed again as I read this book. The storyline is quite entertaining, but as always with her books, it’s the depth of the characters that draw me into the story.

Maggie Fisher is compassionate and loves her family deeply. She’s willingly assumed care of her siblings after the death of her mother. Her dad, however, thinks it’s past time for Maggie to find a husband. Maggie’s strong, forthright personality has scared away any suitors in their community, so her dad sends her to live with her great aunts in Willow Springs. There she goes to work at the Apple Blossom Inn, and finds her employer has an even stronger personality than Maggie. Henry and Maggie are instantly attracted to each other, but misunderstandings seem to keep them apart. Maggie’s two matchmaking aunts, Lizzie and Teena, decide to help the couple decide they are perfect for each other, and that added some extra interest to the story.

It was fun watching Maggie change and grow during the course of this story, and Henry’s charm made me smile. It’s always great to read a story based on faith, love, and trust.

Love Blooms at Apple Blossom Inn by Tracy Fredrychowski was offered as a free download by the author. I was no required to give a positive review or any review for that Matter in return for the download.

Ms. Fredrychowski does an excellent job on telling a story. In this story Maggie Fisher, a sassy and bossy Amish maiden is sent from her hometown to stay with her two aunts in order to find a marriage prospect. Upon arriving she goes to work at Apple Blossom Inn where she meets Henry Schrock who has arrived In Willow Springs on business.

Ms. Fredrychowski has a way of weaving characters and storylines together so that you are definitely left wanting more. These realistic characters help make the story realistic and engaging.

As a special bonus, there are recipes included for dishes served in the story.

This is a 5-star book from beginning to end. I highly recommend it. Thank you for allowing me to read this book.

Love Blooms at the Apple Blossom Inn by Tracy Fredrychowski is a wonderful fun story. First I really like how each chapter is named by a recipe and that recipe is then found within the chapter and also at the back of the book so you will alway have it. Without giving any spoilers I will say this author has spun a story line that will pull you in and have you anxious for each and every page, not to mention you will want to get out your baking supplies and try all these fantastic recipes. This is without a drought a wonderful love story but so much more, it’s a story of faith and friendship, of truth and heartbreak. I know you will like this book just as I did so make sure you have your baking supplies ready because yes you will want them. I’m already planning my day tomorrow, in the kitchen. Happy reading.

Interesting characters in this book. But the sentence structure was abysmal, and the punctuation errors were even worse. I'm a transcriptionist, and I've also worked as a writer and editor. So I know what I'm talking about. Tracy, you have some good ideas for characters; however, it would be in your best interest for you to hire an editor to help you restructure your sentences so they make more sense grammatically. A good editor can also help you with punctuation issues that make your ideas difficult to read or understand.
I don't say these things to be harsh or hyper-critical. I like your characters a great deal. I just feel that with clearer writing and greatly improved punctuation, the true sense of your ideas and your character development would flow so much better.

I fell in love with this story within just a few pages. You have Maggie Fisher who stills lives at home, helping her younger siblings and keeping the in-home bakery running after her Mama passing away. Her Dad is sending her out of state, to her aunts house in hope of finding her a husband. Because of her sharp tongue, nobody wants to marry her in her hometown. "You have many wonderful qualities, but your eagerness always to have the last word....well,that might take a special kind of man." Will she find someone in another state? Or will she run off other suitors? You will laugh out loud while reading. I am looking forward to reading more books from this author. And if you love recipes, you will get a handful in this book.

An Amish story to warm your heart

I love as always reading and learning about the plain life that the Amish communities have chosen to live. Tracy has a gift for blending information with humour, she brings to life the characters and infuses them with witty and elaborate emotions while the story unfolds in a smooth & well paced manner. This makes me, the reader, unable to stop reading until the book is finished! I love Tracy's insightful and God-centred stories, also I am very happy that she included the recipes mentioned throughout the book. Got to try some of those muffins and the waffles too!

Maggie and Henry finds Love in the end

I really loved this book from the beginning till the end. Despite all the miss understandings Maggie and Henry was able to finally find love. I couldn’t understand why Maggie didn’t ask Henry about Bella at the beginning. Maggie’s aunts were so helpful in helping Maggie find Love. I especially loved the sweet recipes at the end of the book.

One of the most enjoyable books that I have read in quite a while that has good character development and a story line that moves along without giving away clues to the ending. This is the first book that I have read by author Tracy Fredrychowski, but I have already looked up her other books. Kudos for a great read with a plus! I really enjoyed the recipes!

Love Blooms

Wow! This another book by Tracy I did not want to put down. I love these characters from Willow Creek. They make me want to visit. Who wouldn't want to stay at the Apple Blossom Inn? Sometimes we make things harder on ourselves by not talking to one another. Great story. I sincerely hope that we get to read Bella's story.

l loved this story!

I loved this story! I think sometimes people wonder since the Amish live such simple lives, do they have the problem everyone else has? This story answers that question. Great characters and I’m already looking forward to hopefully more stories in this series.

I read the paperback version of this book and just loved the cover. It is an Amish book that really was a page turner and what the Amish have to do sometimes to experience plain peoples lives. This sure is a book that you will want a few tissues close. Tracy hit the ball up the center and it got by the shortstop for a triple!

Delightful

I enjoyed this book very much. The story is sweet and the delightful characters have well developed personalities. It is long enough and well developedto be a complete book. Rather than very short and frustrating as are many Amish books.

A very Enjoyable Book

This isn’t the only book that I’ve read about the Apple Blossom Inn or the two matchmakers and it probably won’t be my last. They are quirky and fun and I always look forward to getting to the happily ever after epilogue.
